This was a lovely house that was very comfortable for my daughter and I to relax in between her soccer games. The host was very prompt in her communication and was very flexible with us during our stay. We will definitely stay here again for the next soccer tournament.

Very quiet and peaceful spot, perfect for unwinding after busy days of visiting family and friends in the area. My mother is in her 80s and it was easy for her to get around the house, too. Loved the nearby trails for running, and the location was convenient to both Greensboro and local shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable house. It has a huge yard with amazing trees. It is close to freeways and shopping on a quiet street. Host Anita was very accommodating and provided an inventory and location of all the things one could need to feel at home. The beds are comfortable and have lovely linens.

I really loved my stay at Sweet Haven. It’s a great little home in an excellent location that was easy to get to, with some wonderful hiking trails really close to the house. The backyard is a beautiful little Sanctuary full of the sounds of local birds. Check-in could not have been smoother and the place was immaculately clean and well stocked. Anita and Dave were very responsive in their communication, which made everything simple and clear. I highly recommend this place, and I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Relaxing and quiet location

The house was well appointed with the little things to make the stay comfortable. My kids were delighted by small things like new coloring pages left for use and cards. It was a wonderful quiet location that allowed quiet moments enjoying the large back yard.

Wonderful stay - very welcoming

We had a very enjoyable stay. Anita was a great host and very kindly helped me with a last minute accommodation. The house was very clean and in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We had no trouble finding it. I wish I would have had more time to spend on the patio - it had a big backyard. Definitely recommend and we will stay again when we are back in the area.

As a retired language teacher who’s lived and studied abroad, I know how comforting it is to stay in a real home while traveling. That’s why I host—to offer guests a peaceful, welcoming space where they can feel safe, relaxed, and truly at home.

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because, even though it’s close to everything, it still feels peaceful, tucked away, and calm. In just minutes, I can be walking a trail alongside the lake—it’s the kind of place that feels like a true retreat without being far from anything.

What makes this property unique

What makes Sweet Haven unique is the combination of peace, privacy, and thoughtful touches that make guests feel at home. It’s surrounded by tall trees and gardens, tucked in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet just minutes from everything. Guests often tell me they feel instantly at ease here—and that’s exactly what I hope for.
