This is our family home and we love it, but when we’re not there, we want others to enjoy it as much as we do. So, we have turned it into a relaxing oasis for guests to enjoy. Gather around the table together or kick back in the sunroom or in the spacious backyard. And when youre ready to unwind, guests can slip into something comfortable and retreat into one of the cozy and relaxing bedrooms . But whatever you do, dont forget to make yourself at home. h This house sits in the county but it’s close to city attractions, shopping and parks. And while youre venturing out, take a walk through Gate City Gardens, its a short distance away. We attended a dance competition in the area. The house was a perfect size for our group. It was clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was very nice.

Great House - Great Price

We enjoyed the roomy home. 8 of us were perfectly comfortable with plenty of space. Having all the amenities of home made our trip easy-going. The homeowner was very responsive and sweet. If we come back, I will definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed in many short term rentals, and I must say that this property was the most equipped rental I’ve ever encountered.Everything we needed was provided in abundance during our stay.What a gracious host. Our stay overall was pleasant, we enjoyed our stay, we were there for a soccer tournament. Three issues, but we made do. NO toaster, Only four chairs for the dining table, and master bedroom shower Needs to be fixed, water was squirting outside of shower enclosure, managed to direct water against shower wall. AC was excellent. Freddy

The kitchen is very spacious but well organized so we know where things are stored. In addition, there is a bench in the living room that is perfect for adding more seating to the table. The home was a good size for our family but there were issues.

The house it's self was a good size for our group of 7 adults and the description was good. One of the bedrooms was warmer than all the others though. Our first night there our rental cars were broken into as well as 14 others down the street so that wasn't a great experience. Out last day when we left the home early to catch our flight we left a purse inside by accident and tried to return to get it but the lock wasn't working anymore. We tried contacting the owner for the key and she was very hard to contact. I messaged her through the app and called her from the number she called at the beginning of the stay. After a few phone calls she was just forwarding the calls to voicemail, I texted her about the situation and got no response we rang the ring doorbell multiple times. After about 45mins of trying to contact her from all of our phones she finally answered yelling. She did end up driving down after some discussion and half our group left to the airport to catch our flight while the others waited an hour for her to get there with the key to get the purse. Better communication with the owner would be better if it had been a bigger emergency waiting so long to get in contact with them isn't ideal.

This was THE perfect storm of unfortunate events. It has never happened before and I am working to make sure it does not happen again.. I am hiring a cohost who will take over the management of the house and make certain that guests have a great experience. I appreciate your feedback and I would have liked to have had an opportunity to address your concerns. The car break-ins are NOT normal events by any means but they can happen anywhere. I let you know I was very concerned about your experience and only want guests to have the very best experience. . When I answered your call, you said the police were already in the neighborhood going house to house checking on residences. We have an excellent police force that had already apprehended one of the suspects. They were very responsive as was I. You did not mention that they actually had found property that you’d lost. I would advise all guests not to leave valuables in their car no matter where you are because you just never know what people will do. It is best to keep your valuables in the house with you. I have been a host for over 6 years and always treat my guests with respect because that’s the way I like to be treated. I did not realize you thought I was yelling at you because I don’t yell at my guests. It was after check-out time when you reached out and II’d put my phone down after your checkout time. I called you back as soon as I got back to my phone. Overall, it was not a great stay for you and I can understand why you are unhappy. Please know that your experience was not typical. If you’re in the area in the future, I would like to offer you a discount to stay with us again. In kindness, Evelyn
