We stayed at Hollywood because we needed a place to stay before we headed for our cruise . We constantly went to the bakery across the street! You can either drive five minutes or walk 20 min to get to the boardwalk with all the stores. We ubered most of the time since we didn’t have a car but there were many restaurants around. You needed the fob to go everywhere but that was a security check which I liked. There are two pool areas . We went on a week during the World Cup but always managed to get a chair poolside . The beach is a minute walk away. We didn’t really go to the beach since there was just too much seaweed. The penthouse itself was enough for the six of us. There is a musky smell to the apartment but we got use to it after a day. The kids enjoyed playing ping pong and the gym was small but quiet . The apartment was clean , I do suggest to change the pillows and covers for the couch. Overall, we had a good time before our cruise .

We had a wonderful stay at this penthouse apartment. The top-floor location offers beautiful balcony views, and the space itself is bright, spacious, and very comfortable. There are two large bedrooms, a huge living room with a full-size window, two TVs, fast and reliable internet (great for working during the day), and a fully equipped kitchen.The property is right on the beach and includes a swimming pool, covered parking, and plenty of towels, which was much appreciated. The location is excellent—walking distance to the boardwalk and close to everything we needed.The host was responsive, welcoming, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.

The unit is quite tidy and clean. Convenient access to the pool and the beach. A number of beach apparels are provided (though there are only two chairs and are kind of old). Also, some of the appliances are too old, one hairdryer didn't even work. I would recommend making some repairs/upgrades. The host is a little hard to reach, only replies through email instead of Vrbo app, which is kind of inefficient. Also did not reply to all my inquiries, which is a little frustrating. The apartment door can be slam shut loudly by the wind if the balcony door is open. Need to be cautious since the owner across the corridor made a face-to-face complaint about this.
