Welcome to Ardene Retreat!
This property is a one bedroom, ground floor apartment with modern amenities, which sleeps up to 2 people. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, high speed internet and an AC unit in our spacious bedroom. The bedroom boasts a dedicated office space, ample storage and a safe to secure your valuables while you stay with us. There is a powerful ceiling fan in the living room area.
Free, secure parking is available on the premises. Our open air patio, although cozy, is equipped with outdoor furniture, a sun umbrella, and tropical plants, and is perfect for relaxing at any time of the day or night.
Ardene Retreat offers a serene escape in a centrally located neighborhood within walking distance from many popular South Coast beaches, restaurants, convenience stores and shopping malls (Lanterns, Coconut Court, Quayside, Peronne Plaza and Hastings Plaza). Some of our Island's popular sights are close by: The Barbados Museum and Historical Society, The Garrison Savannah at which The Sandy Lane Barbados Gold Cup (Horse racing) is held, and George Washington House. The well-known Oistins Bay Gardens is a cool 10 minute drive from Ardene Retreat.

We enjoyed our three weeks at Ardene Retreat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Sean and Donna are both lovely people. Donna arranged our transportation from the airport with a young man named Tyrique, who we also used a couple of times during our trip. His prices were reasonable and he was very responsive. Sean’s business was located behind the apartment so we would often chat when he was leaving for the day and we were enjoying our evening Banks beer on the patio. Donna arranged a complimentary mid-stay cleaning, which was much appreciated. We spent most days lounging at beautiful Rockley Beach, which was about a 15 minute walk. The road was quite busy at times but we got used to it pretty quickly. The beach is just off the main drag and there are lots of places that are handy to enjoy a quick lunch or to pick up necessities. We walked a couple of times to the main grocery store, Massy, and caught cabs, which are typically available, to get back. We ate the majority of our meals in, and found the kitchen quite well equipped. This was our third trip to Barbados, and it never disappoints!
