Fowey Cornwall - lovely modern house with balconies and fantastic views

8 Troy Court sleeps 6. It is a three storey house, tastefully furnished and well equipped. There are stunning views of the Fowey river from two balconies and patio as well as a garage and off-street parking (at a premium in Fowey!). The large kitchen/diner seats eight and has a gas hob, two electric ovens, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The lounge has two sofas, CD player, ipod docking station, flat screen TV with a DVD player and a selection of DVDs. There are french doors opening on to the balcony with table and chairs with superb views of the town and river. Two of the bedrooms have double beds - one has its own balcony with views of the river. The third bedroom, with ensuite shower room, has two single beds and french doors opening to a patio garden. All bedrooms have ample storage. The main bathroom, recently refurbished, has bath, shower, basin and toilet. As well as the patio there is a large communal garden.

I’m not sure you will find better views, there are 3 balconies each with a view over the estuary. Hosts were excellent and location was great.

We had a lovely stay in Fowey, we felt the pictures on the listing didn’t do the house justice. The views over the bay are gorgeous, it’s just 5 minutes into town and it was such a bonus to have parking!

A super house in a great location and parking for 2 cars.

We so enjoyed our two weeks on Fowey made all the more special staying in great accommodation. We particularly enjoyed having meals and drinks on the balcony overlooking the river. Our accommodation was warm and very comfortable; also very well equipped.

Had such a lovely break at Troy Court. The views of the estuary from the property are fabulous. Did the Hall Walk, Eden Project, Charlestown & Looe. Loved the Ship Inn in the town, & Sams Bistro. Weather cold but kind.

Excellent family trip away

This property was just what we needed. Great location for exploring town, and going to local beaches. Fantastic house with lots of space for our 2 year old to play and wonderful views out across the estuary. Sarah was a fab host - helped with queries we had before coming and was available if we ever needed anything. Would definitely stay again if coming back to Fowey.

A great house with an amazing view!

A very comfortable house with balconies overlooking the estuaries of two rivers. A town house so a lot of stairs and the walk into town is hilly. The house is ideally situated for walking into town for shopping and eating and to Readymoney Cove for a swim. A lovely place for a holiday!

Spacious and very comfortable 3 bed town house, with amazing estuary views. Set in heart of Fowey with private parking & easy access to all it amenities, but is also a good base for exploring rest of the Cornish area. We had a lovely stay here, no complaints at all. Sarah the hoist had good communications both throughout the booking and also through the stay. We would definitely return in the future

a very pleasant stay

We were absoltely surprised about the location. The house is well equiped, so far everything fine. And view from balconies is just great! Small issue is that in the house almost all (expept towards neighbour buildings) flores were build as drywalls. That makes it a bit noisy when you are there with six people.....

We loved this property! It is modern, bright and very roomy. It was clean, and well equipped. The three bedrooms are on separate levels which is perfect for couples traveling together or a family. The kitchen is very bright and spacious and well equipped. The balconies overlookj the Fowey River and the village with fantastic views everywheren. There is free parking on the property for one car which we used every day. The village of Fowey is cute and charming with all sorts of shops, bakeries, restaurants, pubs, giftshops, everything you need. We went on various walks and hikes directly from there and even took a ferry to a different village, with more restaurants and hiking. The host Sarah was very available by email and whatsapp, very responsive to our every question. All in all 5 stars

Lovely Easter stay in Fowey

We had a really lovely and relaxing Easter holiday in Sarah's house, where we stayed with our fore adult daughters. There was enough space for all of us so that we were really able to fully enjoy our stay. The kitchen is well-equipped for a large group like ours, we had really everything we needed in the right size and number. We enjoyed cooking and having dinner together at the beautiful wooden table. It is a wonderful place with incredible views overlooking the river from the balconies - which we appriciated at all times of the day - and a fantastic base for beautiful walks on both sides of the coast. Sarah was an excellent host, very friendly and flexible with our checkout time. We really felt welcomed. A really comfortable place to stay in a beautiful location. We would certanly love to come again.

Fowey Getaway

We can highly recommend this modern, well appointed, comfortable home, with amazing views over the charming town of Fowey. Communication with the owners was comprehensive and helpful. Parking in front of the house was a really convenient, and a real bonus. This is a property you can enjoy even if the weather closes in, and is a fantastic base to discover the best of Cornwall.

We stayed in this property 10 years ago and return to Fowey regularly for some sea air, walking and relaxation. The house was familiar and comfortable. An early call from the owner was welcome answering a couple of queries and suggesting two places to visit which we hadn’t been to. We tried both and enjoyed them. We have to say the weather made it!

Lovely location in beautiful Fowey

A well located property with beautiful views out over the estuary. The property was clean, well equipped and well looked after. It had everything we needed. Not a property for the frail! Lots of stairs but we found this rather fun working out whether to go up or down when we came out of a room!! The benefit though is with the different levels the lounge and 2 bedrooms all benefit from balconies and the lovely view. A steep walk down to the town, but again it's to be expected in a coastal town. Fowey was lovely and we enjoyed doing walks direct from the property. Adding in the ferry rides made these extra fun too. Would definitely recommend the property and would stay again.

Nice setting but desperately needs refurbishing.

Carpets were filthy, need replacing. Sofas in the lounge were uncomfortable and need replacing. Shower cubicle flooded!

Surprised to hear your comments after checking in with you at the beginning of your stay. Just to clarify - the sofas are brand new and other guests have found them to be very comfortable. The carpets, although stained stained in places are thoroughly vacuumed after each stay and shampooed annually.

Brilliantly positioned and well-kept property with wonderful views over the river from the rooms and balconies. Only my wife and 1 staying but 3 bedrooms and well-equipped, so very suitable for a larger group. Great walks and beaches in the local area. Owner contacted us on arrival to make sure everything was ok - Liked the personal touch.

Spectacular location with panoramic views across Fowey town, harbour and sea. Very comfortable house with plenty of room and a good sized kitchen. Lots of hills/stairs so not ideal for physically challenged. We loved it, especially watching the boats from the balcony..

Great house for a holiday

Excellent house with everything needed for stay and brilliant location and views. Bathrooms in particular superb. Sofa still needs replacing! Thank goodness for Town Bus for return to house from town centre!!
