Wonderful stay, great location, loved the dunes and other Colorado attractions, the sunset from the porch is to die for! Maybe a few more things in the kitchen would be a good idea. All in all loved the home.

Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Nice deck to sit on with views of the south san juan and sangre de cristo range. Leaves at peak so enhanced the awesome views. Was great working with the property owner. We visited the area for the bird migration and had all we came for. Great location for proximity to wildlife refuges and mountain roads. For any birders reading this we had cranes, coots, redheads, mallards, geese, teals, pintails, variety of sparrows, chickadee, stellar jay, clarks nutcrackers, ruby crowned kinglet, and every kind of blackbird. Enjoyed this place so much bet we get back for the other side of the migration.

Great Homeowner and Property

If you are visiting this beautiful region of the country this is a great property to choose. The location is perfect - quiet and peaceful in the farmland surrounded by mountains just minutes from Alamosa. The homeowner is very responsive - answering questions within minutes even - in my experience - during a major holiday weekend. We all commented how nice it was to return to our VRBO each day after the adventures. I will stay here again the next time I visit this region of Colorado. Thanks!

The home itself was nice, cleanliness and communication was not so great. There's many details that werent given ie. Toilet paper has to be thrown in trash cans, the sink water smelled like sewage, hair dryers didn't work. Also there were mice running around the house... i understand it is a mountain property (but i would think they would get an exterminator). I usually recieve a welcome message from host before checkin, but i didnt hear anything until 3 o'clock check in. Overall i would not stay at this property or recommend it.
