Ceiling fans, area rugs and hardwood floors add comfort. Bedrooms are furnished with hotel‑quality mattresses, crisp linens and smart TVs. The master suite includes a spa‑style bathroom with a walk‑in shower featuring multiple sprayers and a live‑edge wood vanity. Two additional bathrooms provide rainfall showers and ample counter space.

Outdoor amenities

Step onto the deck to dine al fresco next to a double‑sided gas fireplace, then move to the adjoining seating area for after‑dinner drinks. In the yard, a fire pit ring with mountain views seats eight, perfect for roasting marshmallows under the Milky Way. A separate deck, nestled among tall trees, houses the six‑person hot tub for relaxing after hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway or exploring local breweries. Lawn games, string lights and surrounding forest create a magical outdoor playground.

Location & nearby experiences

Though private, the retreat is only a five‑minute drive (2 miles) to Asheville’s restaurants, music venues and breweries. The property’s central location offers quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and the artisan shops of Saluda and Tryon. Guides and insider tips on hidden hikes, scenic waterfalls and farm‑to‑table dining are provided after booking.

Guest access & other notes

Guests have exclusive use of the entire house and grounds except for the locked owners’ closet and basement. Smart‑lock entry makes check‑in seamless. For security and peace of mind, two exterior cameras monitor the front door and driveway. The house is in bear country, so keep car doors locked, use bear‑proof bins and never leave food outside. Expect the occasional friendly critter; pest control is performed regularly, but insects may appear. Quiet hours are 10 p.m.–6 a.m. in respect of neighbours. No smoking, vaping, parties or unapproved events. Two small, well‑trained dogs are welcome for a fee (please disclose at booking). Wonderful house in Asheville!

If you are looking for a new house with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, dog friendly, and close to Asheville, look no further! First, the house is VERY nice and clean. Bedrooms are large with comfy beds and each has its own bathroom -- there is an extra room with a small bed as well. Kitchen, dining room, and living room is very large and open and had most everything you need for an extended stay. There's even a 2-sided fireplace! The outdoor area was super nice to have as well.We brought our dog with us and there was definitely some thought put in to the design of the house to accommodate them -- dog bath (!!), dog doors (small and large), fenced area, a crate, dog bowls, dog bed, the works! There is also quite a bit of parking (including a very large garage) and the house is close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore as well. Owners always got back to us quickly if anything was needed. Simply put, this was the best VRBO I've stayed at (by far) and so I highly recommend it!

Beautiful Clean Space to Entertain

The photos on this listing do it justice! It has an absolutely gorgeous interior with tons of space for activities and hanging out. In total it could sleep 10 with all the extra little places to sleep, including a murphy bed. The outside spaces were clean and beautiful. The hot tub was clean, the fire pit had wood, and the outside eating space was lovely. The owners were great about communication and when we needed something up on arrival answered immediately. I would absolutely return to this house!

About the host

Hosted by Jacqueline

Host profile image
We’re Dan and Jacqueline, partners in life and hospitality for almost eight years now. Our journey into vacation rentals began with a shared love for travel—and a few unforgettable stays that shaped how we host today. From a cozy vacation rental in Catalina Island, California, where the host welcomed us with a box of cookies and a handwritten note, to a dusty lake cabin in Cooperstown, New York, complete with spider webs, no AC, a broken coffee maker, and no host or management team to turn to—we’ve felt the full spectrum of guest experiences.

Those moments taught us that hospitality lives in the details. That’s why we’ve built a dedicated management team that shares our commitment to guest satisfaction and property excellence. From timely communication and rapid response to maintenance issues, to ensuring every space is spotless and thoughtfully prepared, our team works behind the scenes to make sure your stay is seamless from start to finish, without compromising your privacy.

Whether it’s a foosball cooler for family fun, a standard-size crib for traveling parents, lake gear for spontaneous adventures, or personalized touches that make guests feel truly seen—every home we host reflects the kind of experience we’d want for our own friends and family.

We’re always looking for ways to make your stay even better, and we love hearing from guests long after checkout. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, we’re here to make sure it feels like home.

Why they chose this property

We chose the neighborhood around 11 Nanas Branch Drive because it feels like a hidden pocket of peace — nestled in the lush hills of Asheville, yet close enough to enjoy the vibrant culture and charm of downtown.

What we love most is the sense of serenity and connection to nature. The winding roads, the gentle rustle of leaves, the occasional deer sighting — it all creates a feeling of retreat without isolation. Guests often tell us they feel instantly grounded here, as if the landscape itself is giving them permission to exhale.

It’s a neighborhood that invites reflection, creativity, and rest — and we’re honored to share that experience with every guest who walks through our door.

What makes this property unique

What makes our Nanas Branch home truly unique is the way it blends soulful design with a deep sense of place. It’s not just a home — it’s a sanctuary. Every detail, from the curated interiors to the thoughtful amenities, was chosen to evoke comfort, beauty, and connection.

And it’s not just for humans — it’s equally amazing for dogs. We’ve created a space where four-legged guests feel just as welcome, with a dedicated doggy door, a fenced outdoor area for safe play, and even a dog-friendly shower in the laundry room to rinse off after mountain adventures. We also provide thoughtful amenities for pups, so they can settle in and feel at home too.

Guests often tell us they feel instantly embraced by the space — as if it was designed just for them. The natural light, the peaceful surroundings, and the quiet luxury of the home create an experience that’s both grounding and inspiring.

It’s a place where memories are made — not just a place to stay.
