Stunning Secluded Lakefront Villa for Families and Groups - Pet Friendly!

Welcome to Villa Laguna, the place to enjoy all the natural beauty of the amazing Laguna de Apoyo. We offer tranquility, comfortable rooms, incredible views and direct access to the lagoon in a quiet area with a shallow beach. Villa Laguna is ideal for families or groups that look for privacy and comfort in a unique secluded and natural setting. No neighbors, so you can be as quiet or loud as you wish.

The villa boasts 7 rooms with private bathrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 20 people (but we do have extra beds for larger groups if needed). There are two expansive suites equipped with 2 queen beds and a single bed with french doors that lead to private balconies where guests can relax and admire the views of the laguna and bird watch. The suites can accommodate up to 5 people each. The remaining 5 rooms are all doubles (with twin beds that can be pushed to form a king) with two of them facing directly the Laguna and the other 3 with views of the forest. All rooms are equipped with ceiling and floor fans and have their own private modern American standardized washrooms. All linens and towels are provided. We offer laundry service at an additional cost.

Amenities at the villa include a spacious fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area located around an outdoor patio. An open bar/rancho overlooking the lagoon, a waterfront covered multipurpose deck that can be used for exercise, yoga, workshops etc... and ample well kept gardens provide you with all the space you need for your stay. Apart from enjoying the lagoon and its magical waters, there are also a few hiking options for all levels.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Your rental includes the services of a cleaning lady each day and a guard each night. Some days of the week you might also see our gardener around. We offer the services of our talented chef for an additional fee, but you need to book this in advance to make sure we can schedule her shifts accordingly.

- Massage services can be arranged but only if you let us know in advance.

- Remember we are located remotely and there are no shops nearby. Make sure you bring everything you need if you do not wish to go far to buy supplies. We sell alcoholic drinks here for your convenience.

- We also have a local driver that can run errands for you during the day for a very reasonable price if you need him to.

- There are 8 cats and 4 dogs in the property. The dogs are kept in our area during your stay, but the cats roam around freely (they are all friendly). If you do not like (or are allergic to) pets, this might not be your ideal place.

- We are located in a natural reserve and chances are you will encounter a bug at some point, just so you know what to expect :)

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

We live onsite in a house located at the back of the property. We respect your privacy and we expect you to respect ours. We are available for anything you need via message and we will come over if needed.
There is always at least one member of staff around during your stay.

GETTING HERE AND AROUND

The property is located in the most secluded area of the Laguna de Apoyo Natural Reserve. No 4x4 drive is necessary but if it has been raining a lot it you might want to consider at least a high vehicle. Currently, all vehicles have access to the property, from sedans all the way to big yellow buses.
There is parking for 5-6 vehicles.
We can offer options for transportation to get you here for an additional cost, enquire for details.

HOUSE RULES

- Only the number of guests specified in the reservation will be allowed. Outside visitors are allowed but you need to let us know in advance so we can warn our staff. The cost for day visitors is 5 USD per person, and if they stay the night the cost is 15 USD per person. Unannounced visitors will not be permitted to enter.
- No drugs of any kind are allowed.
- No smoking inside the rooms or in the kitchen/living area. You are welcome to smoke at the rancho area or the gardens.
- Only small private events are allowed amongst the guests included in the booking. If you are looking for a large event with day visitors attending, you must first check with us and additional costs will apply.
- We ask for responsible drinking as the property has many steps and heights that could be dangerous if guests have abused alcohol.
- The balcony rooms may not be safe or suitable for infants (Under 2 years)
- The villa is located in a protected nature reserve so there will be insects and wildlife which must be treated with respect as well as the natural environment. - - No fireworks allowed.
- Well behaved pets are very welcomed for a fee but they are not allowed on the beds or sofas. There are already rescue dogs and cats in the property, so if you bring pets, make sure they are friendly to the furry hosts (the dogs are kept in our area for your convenience, but the cats roam freely).
