Tairua Treetops - cosy home with stunning views and hot tub

Welcome to lovely Tairua Heights, Tairua's best kept secret. This cozy wooden home s designed to trap light and north facing so stays warm, even in winter. It is set on a lovely spot at the top of a hill, with sweeping views of the estuary and surrounded by native vegetation. Enjoy a wine on the deck to local bird songs while the BBQ simmers and the sun sets over the ranges in the background. The garden spa is the ideal place to unwind at the end of the day (please note there's a small setup and running fee)

The owner lives in a separate dwelling down the property so is available if needed but otherwise invisible. House is close to shops, estuary reserve and boat ramp. Just a 5 minute drive to a gorgeous swimming and surfing beach.

Tairua Treetops

Situated on a steep slope, Tairua Treetops is in a quiet location. It has a warm and cosy timber interior with a lovely view from the balcony and was very comfortable for the three of us. Wifi connection was very easy. Just a few minutes' drive to shops and restaurants in Tairua.

Cozy cabin with great view

Tairua is a great little town and this comfy, rustic cabin is up the hill with lovely views from the top deck to the mountains and tidal inlet. Other than the deck (where we enjoyed morning coffees), the best part of the property is the little spa, which feels like it's in a jungle with big tropical plants surrounding it. We really had an awesome time in Tairua, the highlight being finding an octopus in a tide pool on the beach and watching it for half an hour. What an experience! We felt at home in this cabin and really appreciated the privacy, views, and the fact that Chris is a great host who accommodated a couple of our requests. Thank you!
