Echt Farmhouse - 12 min from Baylor & Magnolia Market Silos

Our place is 12 min. from Magnolia Market & Baylor's McLane Stadium & 1.5 miles from I-35. You'll love our place because of its quiet location in the country on a working homestead.

This rental is part of a duplex named "Echt House" and this side (left side) of the duplex is named "The Farmhouse". The other side is named "The Ranch" and both are available for larger groups. We ask that all guests be considerate of any guests that may be renting the other side.

We are only 4 miles from the #1 rated restaurant in central Texas -- Cafe' Homestead -- and the Homestead Craft Village. Also, we're only 15 minutes from BSR or Cameron parks.

It is Eco-friendly with spray foamed insulation, energy star washer, dryer, refrigerator, range and microwave with many Eco-friendly supplies.

Its great for couples, business travelers, solo adventurers and families (with kids).

Note to long term renters: If you intend to book for eight nights or more, we ask that you to contact us prior to booking because we have a short "Terms of Agreement" to sign, other fees and other considerations to mention that make for a better rental experience for all of us. We have a short time to clean the house for the next renter. We charge $50 / hr for late check outs-5 min after your check out and every hour after.

The property is nice and private. Needs some updates tho. Unfortunately, the property had not been cleaned when we arrived. After multiple attempts to contact the owner, Chris, we cleaned it ourselves including changing bed linens. Chris sent a written message around midnight. No response until I finally called VRBO. He did return some money after VRBO called him. I spent 6-7 hours of my time off cleaning and trying to resolve this issue. Very disappointed.

Cute, clean, quiet farmhouse close to Waco

The Farmhouse (1/2 of duplex) was incredibly clean and comfortable. It was so quiet but only 10-12 minutes to Baylor, we were there for family weekend. This is a great place to unwind and disconnect with comfortable bedrooms, living room and a nice relaxing bathroom.

Super cute and clean!

This was my first time staying in a place that wasn't a hotel when traveling and it definitely was a great experience. It was a very warm and welcoming environment. Wonderful short overnight

Such an adorable place. Comfortable and sits on a beautiful property. The host was so communicative and friendly, too. I was in town for a MTB race and my children drove in to meet my wife and me. We loved the property and homeyness. Very comfortable for 5 people.

The place was cute, but could definitely use some upgrades. Ceiling fans in living room and kitchen area didn’t work correctly (wobbly like it’s not mounted correctly), one of the couches was broken & looks like a dog tried to eat the handle?

The "Heart of Texas Speedway" is over 1.5 miles away. They operate March through October. If the weather is just right, the noise can reach this rental with some strength. Their races tend to be on holiday and weekend nights and sometimes do not end until 11:00 pm or midnight. If this will be an issue for your stay, we recommend you check their schedule.
