Oates Bluff: Pet friendly, Beach Club Access w/ Community Pool & Tennis Courts

Oates Bluff is a dog-friendly vacation home overlooking the golf course in The Village at Nags Head golf community. Featuring 4 bedrooms, a recreation room complete with a pool table, and a sun deck, you will find plenty of space to relax and make memories with the family. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, televisions, a stereo with CD capabilities, a fireplace, a grill, and an outdoor shower.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, guests can enjoy access to the Village Beach Club, which boasts an Olympic-sized pool with lap lanes and a diving board, as well as a children's wading pool, and a snack bar with a café offering a full-service bar for lunch. Your family will delight in a variety of activities, including swimming, pickleball, and a daily lineup of children's activities.

Please note that while access to seasonal amenities at the Village Beach Club is complimentary, parking at the complex requires a pass ranging between $10 and $25 per day, per vehicle depending on demand and time of year (per Village Beach Club website). To purchase and obtain a parking pass for your stay, or for questions related to Village Beach Club amenities and availability, please contact the Village Beach Club staff at (252) 480-2222.

Beach House was a fantastic stay—comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly suited for relaxing. The highlight for us was the kitchen: it was truly well stocked and made it easy to cook and enjoy meals.

Overall the stay was nice- however, there were some things that went wrong.The furniture is old. I broke one of the chairs just from sitting on it. We were playing a game of Uno when I sat back a little and the chair collapsed, I banged my head pretty hard against the wall. I looked at the other chairs in the dining room set and noticed they were held together by glue and random pieces of hardware. Please get new furniture. You make enough from this rental to afford it. The couch looks dirty and the throw pillows are flat. They look like they’ve lived in a dumpster for a year or so.The front door lock was very finicky. We would enter the code and hear the lock turn but it couldn’t open.I will say that the handyman was helpful with the lock. He showed up and showed us some tricks to getting the door open. I was impressed with the customer service. Again, I’m sure this rental makes enough money to afford a functioning lock for the door. Other than that- the rooms were very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials and the space was large.

Perfect Location

If you need a great place to stay this home worked well for us. The kitchen had everything you need to make you feel like home. There is some road noise but that is going to be the case along Nags head as the island is not wide. The parking is tight so if you have more than two vehicles it will not work. The gold course is fantastic, and you can get a better price through Golfnow.com. The master bedroom bath floor is very slippery. The house offers a great view of the sunrise. Beautiful deck with furniture. We would stay again for sure.
