A Chance For Total Relaxation, Beautiful Sunsets, Beach, Pool, & Golf Access!
The cottage has just been renovated in 2016. It is a multi-level home. The master suite is on the first level with a private en suite bath and private porch only accessible from the master. Two bedrooms are on the second level with a full hall bath and laundry. On the third level is the living area with an open floor plan, which includes the kitchen, dining and seating areas. There is a porch off of this level that overlooks the 13th hole of the championship golf course at the Village of Nag Head.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the items needed to prepare and serve meals. There is a gas grill and outdoor shower. All of the bedrooms and the living room have flat screen TVs and Direct TV. The cottage also has wireless internet (the passcode is posted on the refrigerator). The cottage is equipped with a phone with unlimited long-distance access.
Weekly rentals are Sunday to Sunday. Linens and towels are not standard, but can be provided upon request. Upcharge as follows: Beds made upon arrival + 2 sets of towels is $25/bedroom or $75 if all 3 used. Make your own beds, (sheets & towels in room) is $15/bedroom or $45 if all 3 bedrooms used.

Located in Nags Head, this cottage is next to a golf course and near theme parks. Seaside Art Gallery and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Nags Head Golf Links and Mutiny Bay Adventure Golf. Full Throttle Speedway and Destination Fun are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

About the host

We had the cottage built in 1988. The following year we were married at the Village Beach Club. The first couple married at that venue and apparently trend-setters as beach weddings have become very popular since then. We lived in Atlanta at that time, but moved to the Village on the sound in 2006 when our son started high school. Tommy plays in a band on the beach at many different venues and Becky recently retired from the medical profession.
Why they chose this property
Because it is comfortable, cozy, clean, and reasonably priced with many of the same amenities as the big pricy properties. Published rates include 6.5% NC state sales tax & 6% Dare County lodging tax.
What makes this property unique
It combines the things we love, the beach, golf and convenient location. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, access to the sound is unbeatable, and the ocean is fantastic. Closest public beach access is the Nags Head Municipal access--a 10 minute walk. Guest also have passes for "The Village Beach Club"-- a private club with bath house, pool, restaurant, bar and game room, and tennis courts. Parking is available and shuttle transportation is provided to the Beach Club. Guests also enjoy reduced rates at the Village Links Golfcourse.
