Welcome to our beautiful 2-bedroom home, the perfect retreat for families or friends. Located:
-7min drive from Six Flags
-9min to Gurnee Mills
-14min to the Great Lakes Naval Station

-short walk from Des Plaines River path and kayak launch.
Fully renovated, includes large walking shower, sun blocking shades in the bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, a king bed, 2 twin beds and 1 pull out bed. Pack & play and high chair available.
The space
The property is situated on a quiet street just east of Warren Township High School and a short walk from the Des Plaines River Trail.
It offers a comfortable and spacious stay, featuring two floors and a basement, totaling 1,200 square feet of living space. The basement is equipped with a washer and dryer for your convenience. The unit includes well-sized bedrooms, providing ample space to relax after a day of exploring. Guests will enjoy two TVs: one located on the first floor, perfect for family entertainment, and another in the master bedroom for private viewing.

Parking is conveniently located at the rear of the building. Two designated parking spaces are assigned to the unit, situated directly near the entrance, next to the garage building.
Guests will enter through the backdoor, which is equipped with an electronic door lock for added convenience and security.

Everything was pristine upon arrival! The house was exactly as pictured, and everything was in working order. I have to rave about the kitchen, it was probably my favorite space in the entire house. There was a fantastic selection of appliances that made cooking easy. The house itself was in a very quiet area, and very closely located to everywhere I needed to go. 10/10, my husband and I both loved it! I would absolutely book again!

Greatest VRBO stay ever

Everything about this property was wonderful. The listing was exactly as was described, better even. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The house was clean and had everything we needed. 10 out of 10 would recommend staying here. We came up to see our son graduate from Navy bootcamp, and it was close to base so we had no trouble getting there. It was exactly what we needed to have a wonderful visit with our son.

The property is awesome! Perfect space for our family to stay for our Son’s graduation. The home is beautifully decorated with laundry facilities. We loved the location and the ability to cook for our Sailor. (That was his only request homecoming!) The owner was so responsive and helpful. The beds were incredibly comfortable, great water pressure in the shower and just a really great safe neighborhood! Thank you to the owners for making our stay so special!

Only one bath and it is upstairs I have balance issues so the narrow steps to the bedrooms and bathroom were a challenge but I managed. The comfort and decor were great. Very clean

This place exceeded all expectations. Comfy, cozy, safe, excellent location and absolutely wonderful host. Very responsive and accommodating. We ended up staying another night since my son's liberty was changed last minute.We relaxed with games, fuzzball tournaments, plenty of home cooked meals, walks on a nearby trail and an awesome shower (private) iykyk! Honestly, that's all he said he wanted! It was perfect for our post Basic Training family reunion. The only thing to note was the stairs are a little steep. No worries for older kids, but would need to watch the younger ones. Oh and did I mention Six Flags is literally around the corner...not open during the winter...we would definitely stay again if we ever make our way back here!

Hidden Gem! Perfect for Bootcamp Graduation

We stayed for a Navy Bootcamp graduation weekend. The house is even better than pictured! The house is very clean and it’s a great use of space. Having access to the laundry room in the basement is such a bonus. The host is extremely responsive and very kind. House is well stocked. The linens and towels are soft and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and it felt like home for a few days which is exactly what our son needed after 11 weeks at Navy Boot Camp.! we came during winter and had zero issues getting into the house and driveway. Heater works perfectly, thoughtful touches like USB ports right near the beds and little snacks and coffee and water… truly a fantastic stay and if we ever find ourselves back in the Chicago area, we would absolutely stay again. Thank you so much.
