Casita del Mirador is conveniently located in the private residential community of Pueblo Encantado, just minutes north of the heart of Santa Fe. Situated on 95 acres, the community shares access to hiking trails and a seasonally heated pool, while the home's private patio offers al fresco dining spaces, a fire pit, a gas grill, gardens, and stunning views of the breathtaking sunsets and the star-filled sky.

Split-level, open living spaces with high ceilings and large windows allow abundant natural light to fill the home. The full kitchen is well stocked, with added amenities such as a Chemex coffee maker, Sodastream, and a slow cooker. Cookbooks from well-known local restaurants inspire guests to cook in or dine out. The living room, with a wood-burning fireplace, features a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, a smart TV with Roku, and popular games such as Scrabble, Yahtzee, Catan, and My Fair Mahjong's Southwest-themed set for entertainment. A dining room off the kitchen seats six and overlooks the living room, with sunrise and sunset views.

The primary bedroom features a luxurious, deep-mattress king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom, and a candle-lit kiva fireplace. Guests are treated to a restorative and comfortable room to retreat to at the end of the day, with access to a private patio, enhanced climate control with a dedicated HVAC split system, and curated reading selections. A second bedroom with a queen bed and a second full bathroom provides ample space for additional guests.

The outdoor patios feature three seating areas: a semi-private space just outside the primary suite, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee; a dining table for four with a gas grill off the living room, perfect for meals al fresco; and a wood-burning fire pit with locally built furniture, where evenings can be spent after sunset while enjoying the star-studded skies above.

No need to strip beds or gather towels.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No more than 4 additional visitors, in addition to 4 guests, for a total daytime occupancy of 8.
Kiva fireplace in Primary bedroom is decorative only, fire place in living room and fire pit outside may be used, but must not be left unattended.

This was a wonderful stay! The home is light- filled, comfortable, and extremely well- stocked. The kitchen had everything imaginable that we could need to prepare meals at home, and the welcome book guided us to some lovely dinners out. The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of blankets and fluffy, thick towels provided. The outdoor area allowed for some of the best star gazing we’ve ever experienced, and also lovely views of the sunset. We were so close to town, yet felt

The house not only was decorated beautifully it had all the high end amenities you expect at a luxury hotel. From bed linens, pillows, mattress and a fully stocked kitchen with high end appliances. And of course it sits amidst the land of enchantment. We cannot wait to go back!

Lovely location and Christy took extra steps to make sure we could enjoy the amenities at Casita del Mirador. Firewood & fire starters & a lighter so we could enjoy the fire pit and the indoor fireplace whenever. Astro-binoculars for that little extra in stargazing from the patio --- so many stars!

We’ve stayed in many vacation homes and they usually fall into two categories A- you feel like your staying at a friend or strangers home or B- you feel like your staying in your own private home. This property, host and even neighbors make you feel like it’s your home. It’s so dialed in, well organized and the ramp up to the trip is so thought out-it’s smooth sailing and you’re off to enjoying vacation.

Mom and I had a pleasant stay at Casa del Mirador. It is conveniently located close to the Santa Fe Opera and an easy drive to the performance. The community is quiet and relaxed. The casa is built into the side of a hill. The rooms step up from the living room. The kitchen and dining room are higher and look out over the living room and into the patio. The bedrooms are two steps up from that. The patio is shaded in the morning and the hummingbirds are always buzzing around the adjacent perennial garden. There is an umbrella for shady afternoon sitting. The whole experience was relaxed and the quarters and neighborhood, sophisticated. We would stay here again .

The name of our home, Casita del Mirador, roughly translates to a little house with a nice view of the surrounding area. We have always appreciated the vast and sweeping views, the space for quiet contemplation, the connection and grounding felt with nature, and the community of residents who call Pueblo Encantado home. While we appreciate the convenient access to Santa Fe, the natural surroundings in which our home is surrounded simply cannot be found in the hustle and bustle of the city.
