*Age requirement to book our cabin is 25 years old.

*The cabin is over 80 years old and nestled in the mountains, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. While we work very hard to keep it clean and comfortable, it’s possible that during warmer winter days, spring thaws, or rainy weather, a little visitor such as a spider, ladybug, ant, or even a bee might sneak inside. These bugs are harmless, and we’re always happy to take care of them promptly — vacuuming, removing, and spraying with non-toxic essential oils if needed.
Because the cabin sits next to the Chattahoochee National Forest, local wildlife such as deer, foxes, turkeys, coyotes, skunks, raccoons, squirrels, groundhogs, fisher cats, and moles also call this area home. They typically stay deep in the woods and are rarely seen, but occasional sightings do happen — it’s all part of the mountain charm!

This is a lovely little cabin. Just far enough from town for some privacy, and just close enough to grab a nice breakfast. It's quiet, with pretty views.
I’m over these vacation rentals that’ve been bought by investment firms, flipped and turned around as cheaply/fast as possible. This was the typical vacation rental from an investment firm. Cheapest “amenities”. Expired/old things for coffee & tea. Sugar packets stirrers, from Racetrac, QuikTrip (which are free).Imagine spending over 300 a night and seeing things stocked (that’re free) from a gas station. At least when you rent a hotel, those are good quality, not expired, and not taken from a gas station.Same for the other “amenities”. Shampoo bottle that’s been used. Couch that’s worn out. Cheapest TV’s from 10 years ago. A fridge that doesn’t fit the space, they just slid it in there, not even straight, that hasn’t been dusted on top.Like almost every other vacation rental, it hasn’t been fully dusted in a month or more. Some places haven’t been dusted in so long, it’s spotless underneath what’s there. Cobwebs in various places, and hanging off the fan, I could only get 1 pic that would show it.Dust/mold blew out of the HVAC unit, when we turned on the AC.Flooring in the bathroom is peeling up in places. And most of the lights outside don’t work. Maybe it sounds like I’m nitpicking, but I don’t want to rent a place for any amount with burned out light bulbs, cobwebs and dust, TV’s over 10 years old, worn out furniture, and everything that can be done with minimal to no effort. You wouldn’t accept a hotel like this, why should you accept this?

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t fully meet your expectations. We’re a small, family-owned vacation rental and take great pride in every guest experience.
Our cabin is over 80 years old, which gives it its cozy, rustic charm, but we’ve made thoughtful updates to maintain comfort and quality. The flooring is new and was in great condition at our last cleaning. Any condiments or pantry items you may have noticed are left from previous guests as a convenience, and all areas are thoroughly cleaned and dusted before each stay.
The TV in the loft is a DVD setup for guests who enjoy a simple movie night, and the space is designed to offer a peaceful mountain retreat—complete with a screened porch, outdoor fire pit, and claw foot soaking tub you simply wouldn’t find in a typical hotel stay. We also include wine, water, coffee, and toiletries as a small touch to help guests unwind.
We truly wish you had reached out during your stay so we could have addressed your concerns right away. Our guests are always our top priority, and we do everything we can to make each visit special.
Warm regards
