Wonderful back yard in the Riverland Village neighborhood. Great access to airport and Ft. Lauderdale beach area and Las Olas Blvd. restaurants/stores. Everything was as advertised and the pool and landscaped backyard was the best for early-morning sun time.

We enjoyed everything about this beautiful place. We enjoyed the backyard and the pool, immensely, I spent lots of time in the hammock. The kitchen was the perfect size, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. The master bedroom was perfect for our needs. The house was exactly what we needed, we will be back. I highly recommend this property

Peter was great. I hope this comes out as five stars because my phone would not let me pan over to the fifth star, everything was clean and we had a great time, we rented this place for a concert! A friend’s birthday, and the whole thing was great a few things that I might mention: there’s no cutting boards… if you’re making dinner make sure to bring one, you have to ask Peter for the password for the television, also when we walked in, there was a beeping noise coming from the Siding door. If you hear it it’s not the fire alarm. It’s the pool sensor turn it off or reset it! It’s in case you have kids and they get up in the middle of the night and get in the pool. About 15 minutes from the Hollywood hard rock and about five minutes to mini Publix. Kitchen was stocked with everything else we needed, which was great. Peter was very responsive if you need anything. Although we couldn’t find any firewood, I would caution doing a fire in the fire pit because there is a lightbulb that is right over the fire pit and the last person who had a fire burnt it and it is melted if it gets scorched again, it might take out the whole string of lights. Cell safety would probably be don’t build a raging fire!

We had a lovely relaxing stay. It is close to the airport and the other areas of Ft. Lauderdale that we visited. The neighborhood was quiet. Aside from having the expected items (dining items, pots and pans, towels and bedding) there were pool supplies and other things that you might need and have forgotten, like plastic baggies, tea bags, and Band-Aids. The door lock battery died while we were there and I messaged Peter, who called me within 5 minutes to arrange a time to come and fix it and also make sure that it was not causing us problems with our plan for the day. The house is perfect for a family and we had a wonderful time seeing Ft. Lauderdale and being able to go back to the house and relax in the backyard and swim in the pool just made it even better.

This house was impeccably clean and well-appointed for a superb vacation experience. The beds are all comfortable, and there is plenty of space to spread out. The backyard is spectacular with so many sitting areas and places to enjoy the outdoors. The home is quiet as is the neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly when we encountered them while enjoying walks. This home is ideally located for easy highway access and trips to the beach or either Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is a hidden gem. Most locals do not know this neighborhood exists. It is also very unspoiled and reminds me of Puerto Rico and Hawaii. There are lots of large shade trees and adorable smaller homes that have been restored / updated like my house throughout the neighborhood. There are also saltwater canals with boats of all sizes throughout the area.

What makes this property unique

My home is an unmodified house. I love the original mid-century design and look of the home. The home is also updated with warm, inviting colors and a welcoming feel, unlike many homes that are updated with bold / extreme colors like all white or black and white. The colors and styles in my home are timeless- they always look and feel good and inviting :)
