Perfect! Clean and beautiful place. Its in little town and not in busy tourist area, which we love. Its just a short drive to get to tourist things. Only thing that we missed having was a washer/dryer. Hosts communicated great as well.
Beautiful location with a cozy rental space. Very clean and well stocked. Watching the llamas from the porch was a highlight along with the covered hot tub. Will definitely return!
What a fantastic holiday! We really enjoyed talking to the llamas at the fence and watching them from the deck! The porch was another favourite spot for reading while the dogs slept in the sun. We found everything we needed and more! The place was so clean and comfortable!Reina our host was friendly and responded quickly to inquiries. It was interesting to learn about the llamas and your rescue and training program. We marvelled at the work you do with obvious care for the llamas and dogs!We also enjoyed the convenient location, being close to Bragg Creek’s restaurants and artisan shops. We also explored the Cowboy Trail to Longview and had easy access to hiking Elbow Falls in Kananaskis. Thank you so much for welcoming us and our dogs!
We had the most wonderful time away! This place was easy to access, private, clean and had everything we needed for our getaway. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.
Llama Lookout couldn't have been more perfect! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and the location was marvellous. The suite was very beautifully decorated and with lots of warmth and love put into every detail. The llamas were really close by and were fun to watch from the perfectly situated hot tub. We were really happy with our stay and are excited to be back again in the summer. We highly recommend!
We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay at Llama Lookout. The property fit our needs perfectly. Very, very clean. It offered great relaxation- the bed was so comfortable and hot tub amazing. The llamas- they are sooooo cute and fun to watch. Would definitely rebook Llama Lookout if we are lucky enough to visit the area again.
The stay was absolutely remarkable, at first I was a little hesitant to book since we usually stay in a traditional hotel, but honestly this was such a smooth experience that changed my mind completely. We saw the llamas, stayed in a hot tub and relaxed in a very cozy little house. Will definitely be back!!! 10/10!
very cute property,, comfortable beds, small but well equipped kitchen. The hot tub is glorious, clean and big, and covered from the weather.Llamas are curious, and very cute! 3.5 minute drive into town for anything you forgot.
I loved the llamas!! It was so nice to have them all around. We brought our small dog which they (the llamas) seemed really intrigued by. We made several visits a day to the fences. One note is that the gap under the gate is big enough for a smaller dog to get under so we did always keep him on a leash. It would have been neat to have a get-to-know the llamas spot that would tell you each of their names with their photos…the few photos with names of the babies in the bathroom allowed us to identify a couple by name. The hot tub in the late evening was so peaceful.

The suite was beautiful, clean and well looked after.
The reason for the less than ideal rating is that the pictures and description led me to believe the suite was more private than it was. I believed we were booking a secluded and private location, but the suite is actually attached to the main residence. The reason I was willing to spend what we did after taxes and fees was that I believed we’d have more privacy than we would if we booked a hotel in Canmore or Kananaskis.
The furnace was annoying and turned on and off every few minutes despite lowering the temperature when we went to bed.
The bed & sheets were so soft and comfortable. The space really was beautiful and well cared for. The check in was easy & the space was quiet aside from the furnace.
I do feel like the description is a bit deceptive and that it is not as private as described which was a disappointment.
We had a great dinner in town at the Italian Farmhouse.
There wasn’t anything really remarkable about the property unfortunately and we will book a hotel instead of returning in the future.
Hot tub - best I have ever been in. Very clean, comfortable and super cute details. Nice to have a propane & wood firepit options. Quiet, serene location in nature.
