Lovely, three-bedroom house in Vermilion Ohio. All knotty pine, 2 very large first floor master bedrooms, large dormer upstairs, large front porch, gorgeous kitchen, living room, dining room, play room and bath. New family room/ rec room and full bath in the lower level. Our home is charming, cozy and immaculate.

Located in Beulah Beach.

There is a large play ground for the kids, a gorgeous beach, a brand new swimming pool, basket ball courts, soccer field and a wonderful creek. There are also summer camps for kids of all ages (up to 17). So moms and dads can have a great vacation while the kiddos are having the time of their lives at camp.

So spend a day at Cedar Point and then head off to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame and visit the many sites of Cleveland (USS Mather, the USS Cod submarine, the many nightclubs in the Flats by the Cuyahoga River, the Science Museum, or catch an Indians game) (Cleveland really is a great city) and come home to a night of sitting on the porch or at the beach, or take a trip into Vermilion for ice cream. The combinations and possibilities are endless.

Our house offers you days of quiet by the beach, or pool or front porch, with day trips to Vermilion, Sandusky, Huron, Milan, Norwalk, and Cleveland, as well as the Lake Erie Islands. You will have a vacation to remember for always.

Our house is also about 70 minutes from the Cleveland Clinic - and is also a perfect, peaceful place for family members or for the patient' s peaceful recuperation.

****A couple of disclosures – remember - this is a Christian kids summer camp. And it is simply a wonderful place for kids. (I wish I were still a kid just to go to Beulah Beach!!!)
There is never drinking outside, there is never smoking, and no two-piece bathing suits are allowed - regardless of age. If you can behave yourself and put away your bikini – we promise that you will have a great time. ******

Also the folks at the Beach request that you provide me with a copy of your drivers license - it protects the kiddos and it acknowledges your agreement with the foregoing Beach Rules. It's good - it protects the kiddos and ensures that you have a good/safe stay.

Peaceful and close to activities

This is a wonderful home located near Huron, Cedar Point and about 40 minutes from Cleveland. Playground and beach in walking distance. Pool across the street. Great place for a family. Everything was as described and we would stay again!

Great house in great location

Our family really liked this house which added to a wonderful location. We could easily walk to the beach, and Vermilion was a short drive. The house felt spacious and was well equipped. We felt safe letting our 10 year old and 7 year old wonder around Beulah Beach on their own. The upstairs bedroom was warm and we all ended up sleeping on the ground floor, but it was a very hot week.

Easy check-in, cute cottage in coastal community with the Beulah Beach church camp. Cottage is large inside, high ceilings with nice kitchen, 2 queen bedrooms and one large bathroom on ground floor, one large bedroom upstairs with queen and double beds, and a nicely renovated basement den with additional bathroom as well. House does back in up to busy road and there is a nearby railroad track with frequent trains, so light sleepers might need a sound machine or earplugs. A/C works well, ceiling fans in most rooms as well. As of Aug '25, ground floor queen beds are very (too?) soft, upstairs queen is firmer and newer. Pool is nearby and is nice. Beach is nice as well, but algae and bacteria levels prevented us from swimming there. Great neighborhood for biking and walking. Nice playground and pickleball court. Easy drive to Vermilion, Huron, Sandusky/Catawba, or even Cleveland.

Peaceful Lovely Stay near Lake Erie

You won't be disappointed with this rental. Our family loves staying at this lovely house. We've been here before and enjoy the renovated spaces, peaceful atmosphere of the house and the neighborhood. Each evening we took a stroll just a short distance to Lake Erie to watch the sunsets. When we're in the area, visiting Cedar Point Amusement Park, this is the house we always choose to stay at. We also enjoy the wonderful ice cream parlors in the local towns: Pied Piper in Huron and K-Cream Parlour in Lorain. Also enjoyed the local town parks. And if you have a rainy day, go to Vermilion and visit their interesting library.

Our favorite vacation house!

This was our third time renting this house in Beulah Beach. We dream about coming here every summer. The house is gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The recent updates to the basement are nothing short of miraculous. The neighbors are friendly and it's a great place to walk. It's an easy stroll to the playground for a beautiful view of Lake Erie and great sunset pictures. Access to the big swimming pool across the street is always a hit. 15 minutes by car takes you to the adorable town of Vermilion with cute downtown shops and yummy ice cream options (try to be there the 3rd Thursday evenings in the summer). We always love this house and we'll be back again!

Amazing vacation spot for families!

We had an amazing time at Beulah Beach! The house was perfect, clean, and had a tone of room. There was a family room area and full bath downstairs that were great for our preteen/teen sons to hang out in and play video games. Our daughter prefered the peace of her own room which had a comfortable queen bed. The kitchen and dining room were perfect for cooking in. We had everything we needed and plenty of room. The neighborhood was the picture of peace and quiet! We were able to use the outdoor pool area, the large campfire spots (wood was provided), the playground, and even a pond with large inflatable slides and docks. It was amazing! Literally a kids dream neighborhood. Beulah Beach is a Christian Kids Camp in addition to being having rental properties. The counselors and staff at the camp were amazingly kind and helpful. My kids (3 boys aged 11-13 and my daughter aged 10) were invited to join in on many of the activities the campers were doing in the evenings. Some of these included zip lining and a huge, downhill slip and slide! These activities were a wonderful surprise and something my kids will remember forever. The area is a quick drive to Cedar Point, which was nice after 12 hours in the park. No long and exhausting drive home. It is also close to downtown Vermilion. We went down to the downtown area most evenings for dinner. Excellent choices! We highly recommend this rental and cant wait ro go back!!

A lovely small home in bucolic Beulah Beach near Sandusky, Ohio

Beaulah Beach is a Christian Missionary Alliance summer camp and year-round retreat and conference center off a moderately traveled road that parallels an active train track a mile or so away. There is a small community of lovely private homes on a wooded hillside overlooking Lake Erie as well as 2 large multi-purpose buildings, dormitories and a campground. There are walking paths through the woods and it is a short walk down the street to a small private sandy beach. This home has 3 bedrooms; 2 on the main floor and 1 in a finished upper attic area. The entire home is paneled in beautiful new Knotty Pine with finished original hardwood floors, There is one bathroom with a spacious double sink and 2 showers with rain shower heads. There are 2 large dining areas with big tables and lots of seating. It is obvious the owners have recently invested a lot in renovating and updating this beautiful vacation home. The porch is perfect for relaxing and keeping an eye on the neighbors. The main seating area has 2 comfortable couches and 2 recliners situated in front of a large screen tv and electric fireplace. From Beulah Beach it is a short drive east to Vermilion and west to Huron and Sandusky. Cedar Point Amusement Park is approximately 20 minutes away. We had the best dinner of Sushi and other Asian specialties and a choice of 78 !! craft beers on tap at Small City Taphouse in Sandusky, Czech food at Old Prague in Vermilion, fresh Lake Erie Yellow Perch at the take-out spot Sandusky Fish Company right on the lake and good breakfasts at Lemmy's and Berardi's. Our hosts, The Fenners were welcoming and easy to get in touch with plus they didn't mind that we brought our 2 BullTerriers along. We thank them for hosting us on a great short getaway to the North Coast of the USA.

Cozy house in the perfect spot

We’ve spent the last few Christmas’s renting this house. It has a big kitchen and lots of amenities to prepare a meal for our family and the in laws. It has a enough bedrooms for the four of us with room to spare. My youngest likes staying upstairs where there’s lots of room. The small community is only a few blocks but big enough for some walks around the neighborhood to the lake and back. Kate is very responsive and very wants to be sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. She’s amazing. We definitely plan to be back next year, assuming it’s still available.

A Place for Quality Family Time

We had a wonderful stay with our adult children- we agree this is one of the most well stocked and comfortable houses we’ve stayed in. Plus, there was so much for us to enjoy right at Beulah Beach! Some of the lovely surprises: being able to walk out unbelievably far in the water at the beach, firepits with good wood by the waterfront which we enjoyed for hours one night, gorgeous sunsets, the cutest whiffle ball field complete with scoreboard and stands that we played an epic family game on, and the beautiful pond/stream area where we used our inflatable canoe. My husband took some incredible pictures of blue herons, kingfishers, and a Least Bittern (a new one for us!) . We also enjoyed a day at Cedar Point, and an afternoon at nearby Vermillion which has a lovely waterfront, cute shops, many restaurants, and lots of live music in the streets on third Thursdays in the summer. Overall, it was a special place for our family to reconnect and spend quality time together- we highly recommend it!

Beulah beach blessings

The community at beulah beach is amazing. The people and area has a certain presence and welcoming to it. It is evident the graceful work here through the years and on the day to day. The house was definitely updated and remodeled. Kate was easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to future visits. Numbers 6:24-26

Nice Getaway on Lake Erie

We’ve rented this property for the past few years over Christmas. We’re fortunate to have hosts like Kate and her husband. Their gem of a cottage is just right for us - 2 adults and 2 kids. The community is even better and extremely friendly. Very good for relaxing and enjoying the lake views (a short walk from the cabin). We’ll be back next year!!

Lovely Home

This property was homey and cozy, very clean, well appointed, great kitchen and bath. Hostess left coffee, cream and English muffins which was wonderful. Located in an idyllic neighborhood. Lake very close by with beautiful views. Unfortunately there is a main road (not in neighborhood) 10 feet from the back bedroom and are two train tracks within less than a mile. The noise at night made it challenging to sleep. The first two nights trains were heard every hour. Other nights were not as bad. If noise is not an issue, property may work well for you.

Christmas Vacation

Our stay was excellent. The house is located well for both my and my wife’s family. It’s tucked away in a small community on the lake.” That’s private and very friendly. We were able to walk our dogs around the neighborhood and even let them run around the common area by the lake with my teenage boys. The owners are very accommodating and made sure we feel at home. Looking forward to next year - hopefully same time, same place. Thanks

Memorable...Peaceful...Perfect

What a wonderful retreat! I stayed here for 2 months to escape the Florida heat for a bit and to visit my family and friends. I could not have chosen a better spot. The house is just lovely and the rooms are large. Every amenity I could need was provided and Kate was readily available to answer any questions I had and to take care of any issues, but I had none. Her daughter even cleaned for me a couple of times and not only charged a reasonable fee but did a beautiful job. I cannot rate this lovely home highly enough. And the setting is absolutely amazing and convenient to shopping needs. There are Lots of hidden gems in downtown Vermilion. I really enjoyed eating at Route 6 Pub and shopping in the cute little boutiques. I had ny elderly mother stay with me off and on. During my stay she had a huge health setback and had to be hospitalized. Kate, the owner, made me a wonderful offer should I need to lengthen my stay due to mom’s condition. Fortunately this did not become necessary, but it certainly helped relieve stress. Kate is the absolute BEST (thanks for those welcome muffins, by the way!!). Oh, and the neighbors were so friendly and welcoming as well!! This will be my home away from home whenever I visit Ohio. Thank you so much for this fabulous get away. I’ll never forget it or you!!!

Enjoyable and relaxing

This house is quaint and cozy. The first floor was perfect for my wife, our 17 year old son, myself and our dog and we didnt even have to touch the upstairs bedroom. The 2nd master on the first floor could've used a space heater, but then again, we visited on the coldest day of the year. The house is fully equipped with appliances and appurtencies so you don't have to run into town all the time nor pack a lot of extraneous items. Can't wait to come back during the summer to enjoy all that Vermilion has to offer.

Christmas Stay

The house is well positioned for our stay over Christmas to visit both sides of our family. The small community makes it perfect for our family and dogs. The house is very clean and has pretty much anything you need.

Good place for family time away

We were searching for a place on Lake Erie convenient to Cleveland. This place was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of wiggle room for us. Loads of towels and very clean. Great kitchen. A short walk to the beach to search for glass. An easy drive to Cedar Point for roller coaster fun.
