We had a great week.

The house is beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for our family. On the down side, I did have to go to the dump several times. The trash cans were full when we arrived on Saturday. I called and the rental agency suggested I take the trash to the dump myself. REALLY!!!! I should have suggested they give me some type of refund.

Wonderful house

We really enjoyed staying at big water. The views were great! The proximity to the marina, restaurants and grocery store made it an ideal location to plan activities and meals. The hot tub and fire pit were a big hit with our kids. House had all the amenities we needed to keep our young kids happy and engaged. It was a truly relaxing vacation, one that allowed us to reconnect with each other and our kids. I would highly recommend this house to others.

A wonderful time was had by all

The property has great features with awesome waterfront access and a double tier dock (grandkids loved jumping off) for easy boat and jet ski access. The opening living space and hot tub were enjoyed daily and having the shaded areas on the deck by the large trees was perfect for us. We truly loved our time here and hope to come back.

Love the lake house

Loved the house, just a few minor issues that can be easily fixed. Never could open the attachment giving us the code for the lockbox but was able to call upon arrival to get it and get in. Never got the attachment for checkin to list anything damaged or a problem and there were only a few I would have liked to have on record. (This may have been because I was always viewing email on my mobile device not a computer so I could never see any attachments.) House was well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes and pots/pans....we could never find a cutting board tho lol! King downstairs blinds allowed light to wake us but we threw a towel up to fix that. Downstairs toilet seat was not attached but an easy fix for homeowner. Beautiful view, loved the hot tub and the boat dock worked perfectly and wonderful sunsets! Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome!!

Everything you see in the pics you will get. And the atmosphere makes it even better. I’m new to Virginia and we have done nothing because of the Pandemic. So this was our first little get away and it was so refreshing. And everything was clean and ready to just move in and enjoy. You won’t regret it

Great Fall Get Away

We had a great time during our stay. The house was easy to find, check in was easy. Everything was clean and ready for us when we got there - even the hot tub was sparkling and hot. Great views of the lake with a nice dock to sit on an watch the boats go by. Never quite figured out how to use the fireplace inside on the 2 days it was cold. Rented a boat for 2 days to explore the lake and do a little fishing as it was summer like for the most of our week. It was too hot to enjoy a fire in the fire pit, but we did enjoy the hot tub!. It was great for a couples get away, but would also be nice for a family get away.

Family get away

We were super excited to get a last minute get away for our family before school starts! The location of this home right on the lake was great! We are new to VRBO, booking was super simple and communication with property management was easy and prompt. Added fees were a little more than expected. Also not being familiar with this type of rental, I will definitely bring my own cutting knives and cookware. Loved swimming in the lake and we rented a boat!!

Great place to stay on the lake

Very convenient location and nice home, and the dock system installed, along with the dock whips are a great option for those bringing a boat to the lake. Great views of the lake, and location is convenient to restaurants and stores when needed.

My husband and I had a fabulous visit with our daughter and her family at this amazing property. The beautiful view of the lake,and the wonderful hot tub were spectacular,and the cozy gas log fireplace in the Family Room was a great,relaxing touch after a beautiful hike around the neighborhood. The decor was lovely,and very comfortable. We hope we can return to this great place again in the near future.

Really does have everything for a great vacation.

We rented this house to take a quick getaway during the Thanksgiving break. WOW! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing. The pool table kept the teenagers entertained all night long! The house is really well laid out with an kitchen open to the living room which was great for our family . The kids took the downstairs bedrooms and we took the upstairs master bedroom. Waking up to the lake view every morning was so peaceful. We eventually want to retire to SML and hope to have a home as nice as this one.

Beautiful views of main channel of the lake. The house has everything you need and is very clean!!!

We had a nice and relaxing vacation. Some of my family missed having wifi but I found it a refreshing break. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We would most definitely stay at this property again.
