Beautiful, authentic, charming accomodation. Special to be right in the vineyards with a lovely village center right up the road. Susan provided us with an extensive recommendation list to help make our plans and was welcoming and friendly. Wonderful stay

Thank you Michael, so great to see people enjoying the area. Hope we see you again.
Beautiful accommodation, spectacular outdoor living/dining almost in amongst the vines. Kitchen was amazingly appointed, bedrooms and bathrooms lovely. A very peaceful retreat within walking distance of lovely village of Meursault that had all that you needed in the way of supplies. The weather was unseasonably hot during our visit and property does not have air conditioning, downstairs remained cool. Thank you Susan and Andrew for a wonderful stay, would definitely return.l
Susan and Andy were gracious guests. Their property is amazing, perfectly located in the heart of Cote d'Or. Susan's recommendations for what to see, eat, and drink in the area proved invaluable. Highly recommend!
Superb house for two couples to stay in. Both bedrooms with en-suite are equally comfortable and spacious. Downstairs living area works very well and is beautifully fitted out. Pleasant area outside to eat and relax in overlooking the vines
Excellent Property. Susan and Andy are great hosts. We stayed for a month, perfect base for discovering Burgundy. Meursault has all the services you need within walking distance and several good restaurants. Great hiking and biking routes surrounding the area. Highly recommend.
This was the fourth time we have stayed at Les Vignes and it was perfect again. Everything about the house is as advertised and Susie and Andy go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of their guests (including driving a guest to the doctor and waiting for her for an hour). It is a marvelous experience to stay in comfort, close to the village with amazing views of the vines.

It is always a delight and a honour to have guests who return, thank you so much for this lovely review
We were pleased to stay in this beautiful property for a week in May. Susie, the host, was readily available for questions before the trip, and was a gracious host while we were there. The property is located in a beautiful wine country town that contains a grocer, pharmacy, restaurants, and even a baker so you can get that daily baguette and chocolate croissant for breakfast. In addition, the town has many wine tasting opportunities. We loved our time there, the accommodations are outstanding. We were comfortable and had a nice kitchen to cook in and even a grill to cook dinner on. We HIGHLY recommend this beautiful place in Meursault!
Amazing stay in a beautiful idyllic Burgundy village
The property and the village were amazing and beautiful. What made it extra special was having Susan and Andy as hosts. They went out of their way to help us in every possible way and to make our vacation extra special. I'd give Susan 6 or more stars if I could.

This is the third time we have stayed at the property, we just love Mersault and Susan and family are the best. It never disappoints. Hi-light of the trip was being there for Bastille Day fireworks.

This is a beautiful property. The owners renovated this wine barn with exquisite skill and design. The furnishings are luxurious. The setting overlooking vineyards is lovely. The location, a short walk to the center of Meursault, is perfect.
This property is exceptional. I highly recommend.
So hard to sum up...beautifully converted space in an idyllic location. Morning coffee overlooking the vineyard, with fresh delights from the village boulangerie...a 5 minute walk.
Lovely hosts, super helpful with recommendations, and a delight to chat with.
We'll be back!

Exquisite place to relax and enjoy the wonders of Meursault
This was our second visit to Susie & Andy's incredible Meursault home. It is truly one of the best stocked vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. Their care and attention to detail shows up in everything - the quality of the bedding and linens, the decor, the amenities. The hospitality is incredible as well. Meursault is perfectly situated for visiting all parts of Bourgogne, plus you can simply walk to visit a number of vineyards. We cannot wait to return again and again!

Beautiful property. Exactly as described. Plenty of everything you'd need for a great stay! Good wifi. The location both in the town and in the Burgundy area are just perfect. Everything you need in walking distance. Susan as a host was very communicative and quick to respond. So helpful with anything we needed. Definitely would recommend anyone to stay here. Loved all of it!
Absolutely lived the French dream by staying at Susan and Andy’s property. It really was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully included everything in the kitchen we needed to function well. We felt very much at home and our hosts were on hand to help with the logistics of getting around Bourgogne with some handy tips about restaurant bookings & wineries when we needed it. Thank you, Susan, Andy & Freya, We will be back!

Thanks so much, look forward to you coming back, so much more to see and do!
We spent 3 days in Meursault with my elderly parents on a Burgundy trip. We loved the house and grounds, though my husband said Jaccuzi could have been warmer for him (I actually like it slightly cooler better). The kitchen was well equipped and it was fun cooking breakfasts. Great location with quick walking access to grocery shopping and fresh bread in a charming little town. Great hiking opportunity too, straight out of the house. If we ever come back to the area, we would stop by again.

Thank you Bettina. We’ve been running the jacuzzi cooler due to extreme heat and requests from guests - next time we will turn it up for you! Hope to see you again
Beautiful home in Meursault in the middle of the vineyard
We stayed 4 days at Susan’s house. Great communication, very fast, willing to guide you to nice places. Perfect house: bedrooms, bathrooms, livingroom, kitchen: the house was very well equipped and high standard regarding cleaning. Everything was there: from dishwashersoap, showersoap, bathrobes etc. I’ll highly recommend this house.
Amazing dog friendly 2 bedroom cottage overlooking vineyards. Beautifully refurbished with high quality fixtures and fittings. 2 minutes walk from centre of Meursault, there was nothing we didn’t like about it. Susan & Andy are lovely people and it was a pleasure to meet them. The place is fantastic and they have thought about every detail and more! We thoroughly enjoy our week there. We’ll be back sometime. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much, we loved meeting you and look forward to welcoming you again to Burgundy!
You know a property is amazing when you first walk in you start thinking about planning your return trip. This was the case when I walked into Les Vignes. The location is just perfect. You are surrounded by vineyards but only a five minute walk away is the town center. The amenities are on par with a five star hotel. If all this was not enough, Andy and Susan are just delightful hosts and full of recommendations. If you are thinking of going to Burgundy, this is just the perfect property,

Thank you so much, what a lovely lovely review! We loved having you, and look forward to you coming back to continue exploring Burgundy.
The property is beautiful, has a five star hotel feel to it coupled with a homely atmosphere. We loved all the little extra touches such as towels to the hot tub to milk in the fridge as well as an extensive guide to the area. We felt totally relaxed and was the perfect end to an amazing trip exploring Burgundy. The house is so well located that it is just a hop and skip away from quintessential French village life. Eveything we could have hoped for! Thank you Susan

Thank you so much, so glad you enjoyed exploring Burgundy and relaxing here as well.
From the moment Susan and Andy welcomed us to the house upon check-in, our experience was absolutely delightful. The house is beautiful, clean, airy and very comfortable for our family of 4. Touches like robes, hot tub towels, grilling tools, fans for the bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen all make the stay effortless. The town of Meursault is well situated to explore so many parts of Burgundy. The village itself also has everything you need: patisseries/boulangeries, restaurants, a small grocery store within walking distance. Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

About the host
Hosted by Susan Brunner
Following years of studying, working and traveling in France, we are complete Francophiles hoping to retire to Burgundy in the future. Our daughters both love France too, and although still at school and university, spend as much time as possible working with us to ensure that the rentals at Rue Montmeix are everything you could want. Sometimes we will be there to welcome guests, but on the occasions we are not, we have a wonderful local manager to look after you. The most enjoyable thing is sharing recommendations of wine and food between our guests and recommending local attractions.
Why they chose this property
After years of wanting to buy a second home in France, we had decided on the wine villages of Burgundy as our favorite location. We wanted to be in one of the prime villages of the area, with easy access to beautiful Beaune. Unable to find property to rent of the quality we required over the years, we were thrilled to find the house through a local firm of property designers and builders - although needing total renovation we fell in love with the charm and peace of numéro 6 immediately, totally won over by the stone, woodwork and fabulously peaceful views.
What makes this property unique
Rue Montmeix is truly our piece of paradise, which we love sharing! Uniquely positioned only 150 metres from the village square and all its amenities (Baker, great butcher, small supermarket, deli, florist, Tabac, 9 restaurants and 50+ vignerons!), the two houses that we rent out have been newly renovated from the beautiful stone winemaker's barn that our house is part of. The houses are calm and quiet, light and cool in summer, and warm and cosy in the winter, with some amazing stone walls and a beautiful oak frame, all carefully renovated by local master craftsmen. They face south, with a small vineyard in front, a recently reclaimed one planted to the right, and views up to the vine-covered hills.
The outside space is huge, especially for a wine village - each house has its own parking space, lots of privacy and its own outside bbq and eating area. In addition, the two rentals share a luxurious decked area and top of the range hot tub.
