This home was perfectly located near downtown Palm Springs and we loved the layout of the home. This would be the perfect place to stay when traveling with a group of friends.
Our stay at the house was great. We traveled with out adult daughters and their boyfriends. The house comfortable and clean and pool area was great. The best part was how close it was to Downtown and all of the shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time and look forward to staying there again.
Relaxing weekend getaway for a birthday. Easy to get to home and easy to access. Good amenities available to make our stay comfortable. Easy check out.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
We had no pets, yet appropriate & large area enclosed with green grass available keeps dog(s) safe. Many items in house were broken or didn’t work. Sad to walk in and see torn day bed, blistered headboard, buckled paint chipping on pool surround tracked paint chips in pool & in the house—not like profile photo. Quiet neighborhood, good star gazing at night. Rented a bike, rode all over.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the quiet neighborhood, great stargazing, and enjoyable biking around the area. We’re glad you were able to experience those aspects of the location.
We take great pride in the home and are grateful to have many positive reviews from guests who have enjoyed comfortable, well-maintained stays. Since your visit, the torn daybed—damaged by a recent guest—has been replaced, the peeling headboard in one of the guest bedrooms has also been replaced, and the peeling paint around the pool surround has been addressed.
We are not aware of any additional broken or non-working items, as we did not receive any communication during your stay that would have allowed us to remedy issues immediately. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can resolve concerns promptly and ensure everyone is as comfortable as possible.
Thank you for staying at our home.
The house had everything we needed, and was in a great location. The AC did take a little while to get cool, but we were battling 100+ heat so we also used the pool which was a refreshing break from the heat. Loved the juice press and loved making fresh orange juice for the mornings. Will certainly stay here again!
The house and neighborhood were the perfect respite for us after dealing with issues of grief related to a sudden death and anxieties related to a health issue. The warmth, sun, and pool were the perfect antidote to our recent worries. We look forward to next year.
This home was charming with fantastic pool and yard. The outdoor seating was very comfortable with beautiful mountain views. It is in a very quiet peaceful neighborhood. Nick was very receptive to my suggestions for making this place even better.

The couple very minor issues that Renee had with her stay could have been remedied very quickly had she just reached out to me and asked. Nick
We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental in the heart of Palm Springs. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed our time in the spa and pool. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful. The owner was very helpful and responsive to questions. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you!
Really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. It would have been nice to have had some coffee pods for our start the next day, but overall, the house was well stocked. The outside is a dream and we really enjoyed relaxing in the pool. Thanks for hosting us.

This house was perfect for our week in Palm Springs. The location is centrally located to almost anywhere, which made it super convenient. It was super clean and Nick and Andrea were super easy to communicate with and helpful! We were allowed to bring our dog which was really nice to not have to find boarding for him. We were all in the pool and hot tub every single day; so much fun! If I had to complain about anything, I would say that the bathroom in the master bedroom area has no door, which was a little weird, and that the king mattress was extremely soft with zero support. Otherwise everything was just great - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Thanks for staying with us. Just to clarify to anyone reading this review the master bedroom area can be closed off from the rest of the house. Also, the king bed is slated to be replaced soon.
Thanks, Nick

Quick Getaway
We booked this lovely home the night before, literally around 9:30 at night and we were payed and ready to go by 10:00p.m. We drove up the next day and enjoyed the pool as soon as we got settled. The Holm's made it super easy to enjoy our quick getaway for MLK weekend. The house was perfect for our clan of six, four adults and 2 children. Our uncle and cousin even popped in and there was plenty of room for all of us, and our doggies too!!! There were plenty of linens, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and such one would need to prepare a meal, which we did on the BBQ our last night. Would like to go back for a longer trip to see more of Palm Springs.
Screens on the sliding doors and a complete fence around the whole yard would've made the stay more dog-friendly.

The whole area of the yard that a pet would want to be in is fenced. This includes the whole back yard including the pool area. The part that is not is desert landscaped.

Memorable Birthday Weekend
Great location in a safe, well kept neighbourhood. Only 5 minutes from the airport and downtown Palm Springs, 15 minutes from Palm Canyon (a must visit), 25 minutes from Palm Desert and Cabazon Outlet Malls. The house was clean (except for bedroom carpets which could have used a steam cleaning) and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and full size kitchen. We would definitely return to this property in the future.
As a side note, we discovered our flight was cancelled after we'd checked out, returned our rental car and arrived at the airport. A quick call to the owners and they were kind enough to allow us to stay for an additional night free of charge as we had a late check-out time and the cleaners weren't coming until the next morning. Thank you so much!!!

This is the first person that’s ever reviewed our property that said the beds were uncomfortable. If they were having issues figuring out the tv they should have called or messaged me. Didn’t hear from them all weekend. They couldn’t get Netflix to work because we don’t provide it and don’t state anywhere that we do. As for the seating in the living room we provide lots of pictures of the property and we believe it’s sufficient for the number of people that are supposed to be in the house.
We loved our stay, everything was as it should be. The host was easy to communicate with and the location could not have been better! Will definitely stay here again!
The house is perfectly situated for a group of ladies who wanted to be close to downtown, restaurants and shopping! The best part of this rental is the outside space. The pool is perfect and had some shade available for those really hot sunny days. Already rebooked for next year. This property is a gem.
We loved our stay at Nick’s place. We’ve vacationed at different locations in PS but this was the most picturesque and convenient by far. Nice pool, comfortable house with well-equipped kitchen. We took many Movie Colony walks, strolled to Ruth Hardy Park and to Koffi.
Loved this PS place. Location was great. Close to DT, grocery store & restaurants. Very comfortable. Pool and hot tub very nice and appreciated it being heated. Owner very communicative & helpful. Cant wait to get back!
Stayed here with friends for my daughters wedding. Good to get away from the event for peace and quiet! Close to everything, loved how the pool was in the shade!
I can’t say enough positive things about this place! It was the perfect spot for six adults who wanted access to a pool AND proximity to downtown (plus we were able to bring our dog). The location is amazing and in walking distance to almost anything you could need (the aerial tramway is the only place we visited that required a car or Uber). The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperate and provided hours of relaxation and entertainment. The kitchen has everything you need including an amazing juicer that allowed us to make some delicious, citrusy cocktails. The whole space was clean and beds were comfortable. The only thing I could imagine guests missing is a spacious couch (especially if traveling as a family). The couch in the living room is a bit small and certainly wouldn’t fit all six of us, but it didn’t bother us at all as we spent most of the day and night enjoying the gorgeous outdoor space. Nick was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We are already talking about when we can make another trip and 100% will put this place at the top of our list for our next visit. Thank you!

About the host
Hosted by Nick Holm
We grew up in the same small town in rural Northeast Iowa. When we’re not working, we love spending time outdoors—camping, boating, and hiking whenever we can. Travel has always been a shared passion, especially exploring the West Coast. We fell in love with California on our very first visit, and Palm Springs quickly captured our hearts with its warm climate, iconic mid-century architecture, and rich history. This special town is a place we truly enjoy and are excited to share with our guests.
Why they chose this property
We have always been drawn to the mid-century style and rich architectural history of Palm Springs, which guided our search when looking for a home here. When we discovered this property, we immediately fell in love with its location—just a short walk to downtown Palm Springs, yet wonderfully quiet and peaceful in the evenings and early mornings. It quickly became the perfect desert retreat and a place we truly enjoy sharing with our guests.
What makes this property unique
We were immediately drawn to the home’s iconic architecture and the spectacular mountain views enjoyed from the patio, pool, and spa. It perfectly captures everything we were looking for in a classic mid-century Palm Springs home and remains one of our favorite places to relax and unwind.
