Home is 15 min. north of Tampa International Airport. Beaches, parks, malls, an abundance of golf courses are all nearby. Historic Tarpon Springs, famous for its sponge docks, is 30 minutes away, as well as the city of Tampa, home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the University of South Florida and well-respected hospitals. Brooker Creek Park and a county library are only 5 minutes away.

A canoe is available for your use but you are welcome to bring your own boat and use our boat slip.

A hidden treasure

Great Lake House

This house is perfect! The lake views from every room are beautiful. Easy to maintain and time for enjoying the lake. Near the Winn Dixie and everything you need. And the owner is there for you any time you call. Positive experience!

So Comfortable beautiful view!

I was so impressed with this house, it was very quaint and comfortable. The lake was literally in the backyard and the view was just beautiful. We were travelling with our children and they had a great time on the tire swing (with our supervision of course). We also made use of the canoe and life vests available. If we come back to Odessa (Tampa) again we will stay here!

Beautiful setting on Lake Keystone

Wonderful classic Florida lake house. The house has been lovingly cared for by one family for many years. This is not one of the fancy over-the-top mansions that line the lake but here you can relax and enjoy the wonderful views and get out on the lake. Close to shopping and restaurants and attractions in both Tampa and Pinellas Couny. 30 minutes from Tarpon Springs. This winter was our third stay and we plan on returning.

Wonderful Lake Home

We have rented this property for several years in the winter. It was perfect for our family and our Boston Terrier. The house is well equipped, quiet, and in a friendly small neighborhood. You are far enough away from the crazy traffic in Tampa but close enough that you can get to restaurants, museums, the beach and other attractions without a long drive. Just off Tarpon Springs Road, you have many places to visit to the west and north of the bay area. The owner is wonderful to deal with when checking in, during your stay and when you check out. This is a well loved welcoming family home that anyone should enjoy.

Week on the lake.

The house was in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. It had everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. I hope to have the opportunity to rent it again when I travel to Florida.

Tranquil property on beautiful Lake Keystone

The view from the backyard and back porch are spectacular! You are only minutes from the hustle and bustle of Tampa, St. Pete and Tarpon Springs but you feel like you are in another world. The house is fully equipped for a long term stay if you are so inclined. The neighborhood is good for dog walking and you are close to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail for longer walks. If you like to canoe, kayak or fish the new dock is great.

Relaxing Stay on Lake Keystone

We rented this home for a couple of weeks as a place to stay while we waited to move into our new home in the same area. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the amenities as much as we'd like (thanks COVID), but it was still a great stay and perfect for our situation! The property and view on the lake is incredible, and despite being limited we were able to paddle around the lake in the canoe a little bit as well as play in the yard and around the dock with the kids. We also enjoyed the covered and enclosed patio/sunroom/lanai. The home comes with everything you could ask for, and more! Thank you Dada for the helpful communication and service!

Beautiful Lake Keystone Property

We have stayed in this property many times and always enjoy it. It was a perfect place to stay this safely this year during the COVID pandemic. Everything you need is here. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Nice places to walk the dog. Close to restaurants, take-out, and shopping.

Wonderful Florida lakefront home

We've stayed at the Odessa home several times and it's always a joy. The photo of the lake will be updated, I assume, to show the beautiful new boat house and dock. The neighborhood is very nice and you feel secluded although you are only minutes away from Tampa, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, etc.

Our Spring Vacation In Florida

My husband, daughter, our two small dogs, and myself decided to rent a property in Florida for the Spring Vacation. At first we were nervous because we usually stay in known hotels. This was a house that we were going to rent where we didn't have an idea of location, neighbors, possible situations. It made us nervous just to rent a house that we did not know anything about... We drove from New Jersey, so imagine the possibilities that we had if wasn't what was expected. Well, arriving there was smooth. A neighbor greed us as she was expecting us. Very friendly, helpful and willingness. After, we went inside the house. The house was very spacious and accommodating. We felt very comfortable right away. Our dogs started to play like they were home. As the days went by, we found little by little all that we needed. This house was very neat, clean, organized, so equipped that we bought some items because we felt bad to use theirs. But we did not have the need to buy anything but food, of course. We felt very comfortable, safe and relaxed. The area was very quiet, private, and romantic. The neighbors were very respectful towards our dogs. Their dogs were on the leash same as ours. There isn't anything negative about our stay at this property. We will definitely consider returning to this location in the future. Thank you Dada and Home Away for making sure that renters as us are safe and satisfied when we plan our vacation destination.

Beautiful property. Your own private lakefront beach to sit and enjoy the views. Well kept 3/2 Florida home, comfortable beds in a friendly gated area. Great neighbors! This was a peaceful vacation spot but close to beautiful beaches, horse ranches and shopping. Bring your kayaks and enjoy. Only about 15 minutes from Tampa and Tarpon springs. 5 stars from us!

LOVE THIS HOUSE!!

We had a great time and really enjoyed this spacious house and it's close proximity to everything worth seeing in the greater Tampa area! We immediately felt right at home and I was happy to be able to grill with their new grill every night! Most of all, I enjoyed it being on the lake and being able to go out on the canoe they provided. So much so, that on our last day, when the rest of our group went to Clearwater Beach, I stayed behind for one last tour of the lake on the canoe. This place is truly a hidden gem!

I grew up in Tampa but my father built this lake place right next door to his best friend who had recently purchased the house next door. We would come out and spend the entire summer here. We still love it and are happy to be able to share it with others. The city of Tampa is only 30 minutes away!

Why they chose this property

The lake view is simply gorgeous and relaxing. It is an ideal lake for swimming, fishing, boating and skiing. It is on a 443 acre spring-fed lake. The kitchen has been recently renovated with all new appliances and granite counters. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and a view of the lake. The middle bedroom has a full bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. The second two bedrooms share a hall bath with a tub + shower. The washer and dryer are located in a large outside utility room.

What makes this property unique

At this lakefront home you can feel like you are out in the country yet be close enough to take advantage of all that the Tampa Bay area has to offer. The Veterans Expressway, 15 minutes away, can take you south to Tampa or north along the coast towards central Florida. Bike trails, state parks, beautiful cities such as St. Petersburg and Clearwater are all an easy drive away. You can never get bored but you can be as relaxed as you want to be on this gorgeous lake
