Gorgeous property and amenities. Very close to the restaurants pool and pool bar. Staff was very friendly. Kind of a ghost town since we came after Labor Day. Maybe that’s what you are looking for? Everything was open and we had a great time.

A short stay in September. .

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved all of the available amenities for activities. River Dunes is in a beautiful location for peace, quiet and surrounded by nature. The Harbor Club restaurant was excellent. Terrific staff and great food. Our cottage was very well done. Clean and comfortable. Our only minor disappointment was there wasn't a place open for breakfast or lunch during our stay. We understand that was because we were there midweek. We had a wonderful time.

Nicely decorated single bed cabin. Only issue was had to call maintenence to light gas logs in fireplace. Also community gas grill not functional. Ended up eating 2 delicious dinners at the marina restaurant just 300 feet away.the 2 nights there. The whole community was picturesque.

I stayed at one of the cottages and it was probably the most adorable night away from home I've ever had. The room was immaculate the bedding was excellent and the bathroom was amazing. My daughter and I stayed here as it was the only place near Oriental that had any space the weekend I went. A little fancier than we would normally pick but everyone was really nice. My only negative about this space was that the water was not really cold in the shower. I know that sounds like a first world problem but when you have a sunburn the only thing you want is cold water.
