What a beautiful home and lovely location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great swimming and canoeing. Nice gentle hiking trials. Was perfect for our group!
My father and I had a great week at the cabin! We spent plenty of time fishing from the dock, enjoying the wildlife, and relaxing by the fireplace. The cabin was cozy, very well-equipped, and in such a peaceful setting. Roger and Elaine were such wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming while always respecting our privacy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
We had a wonderful time at the pond. Roger and Elaine's home was well equipped with everything you would need and we enjoyed the peace and beauty of the area. We will be back!
Our stay at the Adirondack Lodge could not have been more magical! We were blown away by the beauty of Ingham Pond from dawn until dusk and the bald eagles and loons kept us company our entire stay. The home itself was perfect - extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious yes cozy. Roger was an extremely attentive host and replied swiftly to messages or questions both ahead of and during our stay. We will absolutely be coming back to stay and thank Roger and Elaine for being such kind and generous hosts.
This camp (any property on a lake in Maine is called a camp) is amazing. Starting with the astounding view as you drive in to the fact that the camp is right on the water and the main house (we didn't use the very nice-looking suite above the garage) was spotless, modern and extremely comfortable. The pond is wonderfully quiet with only a handful of camps on one side of it. Communication with the owner was easy (and he's very friendly and clearly cares about his guests' experience). All in all, I highly recommend this place but will note that if your party includes anyone with mobility issues, the stairs in the house are steep. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's something to be aware of if you are traveling with elderly folks. The extra amenities such as the incredible deck, tons of firewood, a wood BBQ, horseshoe pit, kayaks and canoe, not to mention sitting areas on the dock all add to this camp. I had a couple of family members visit and they couldn't believe how nice it was. Very grateful for the opportunity to stay here.
This was our first Vrbo rental, everything was perfect. The house was just as beautiful as pictured in the photos. The property and the pond are stunning, private and relaxing. The hosts Roger and Elaine are amazing, great communication before during and after our stay. We will definitely be back, this was truly a special place.
This is the most amazing vacation spot. It felt like a relaxed camp atmosphere, but actually everything was extremely clean and up to date, and everything except your food was already there. We came with our 2 teenage sons and 7 year old and we got to just relax while they swam, waded, fished, kayaked, and hiked. Everything can be done right from the property and the lake is right in front of the most awesome covered deck where you can watch everything. We never left all week, even had Hannaford deliver our groceries. And the property owner are super nice and even quickly brought over a few little things we asked about. The kayaking is beautiful down the little streams on either end of the pond. Life jackets are provided, boats are in good condition, everything is top notch. Even the eclectic decor we enjoyed. Oh, and the call of the loons I still miss. Thanks for sharing this memorable place with us.
We enjoyed this rental! The owners are so warm, friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful and offers the opportunity for morning walks on the trails. Afternoon kayaking, and star gazing in the evening. The rental is very clean and welcoming.
Host was extremely gracious and welcoming. The home was even lovelier and more well appointed than we imagined. They had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable. The views are incredible and we hope we are invited back. Thank you.
Easy 5/5 rating. The most peaceful week in Maine thanks to this house, lake and gorgeous back deck. We could not have had a better experience. Cannot recommend this place enough!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving getaway at this cozy cabin on the lake! The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cabin had all the amenities we needed to prepare and enjoy our holiday meal, and everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The property itself is beautiful, with plenty of trails to walk and explore—perfect for relaxing and spending quality family time. The atmosphere was warm, homey, and peaceful. We loved our stay so much that we’re already planning to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable escape.
We spent 8 amazing nights at Roger and Elaine’s Adirondack Lodge on Ingham Pond. We had a chance to meet them since they live minutes away. They are wonderful people and excellent hosts. The Adirondack was even more beautiful than expected. In minutes, it felt like our home away from home. It is well cared for and beautifully decorated. You can pack light as everything you may need is provided from fishing poles to canoe, kayaks & life jackets to a fully equipped kitchen. The lodge is steps from the pond with serene views. Our short kayak trip down Ingham Stream to Long Pond was beautiful. We had fun trying to catch the famous Northern Pike off the dock. We enjoyed sitting, playing games and having meals on the large covered deck with views of the pond and an afternoon fire in the outdoor fire pit. The indoor wood fireplace took the chill out of a few chilly nights. And there was an ample supply of firewood on site. If you like to walk or hike, there are snowmobile trails steps away and several mountain trails nearby. We enjoyed our short hike to French Mountain, an easier trail with gorgeous views. For golf enthusiasts, Belgrade Lakes Golf Course is about 20 minutes away and a real treat. There are many more wonderful things to share. Bottom line is our at The Adirondack was everything and more than we hoped for. Thank you, Roger and Elaine!
A perfect lakeside retreat! Elaine and Roger were excellent hosts. The check-in instructions were clear. The deck offers stunning water views, and the hammocks are ideal for lazy afternoons. My companions and I found the beds comfortable, especially after an afternoon of swimming and kayaking. We'll likely be back.
What a gem! Everything was just perfect and even better than our expectations. It’s so peaceful on Ingham Pond and the hosts are very welcoming. We had a couple of questions, and he helped out quickly and even had a fire going for us on arrival. The kayaking was easy and the pond connects to other large lakes. Loved it!!!
We had an incredible time at this property!! A little slice of heaven which is hard to find these days. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, sitting on the deck and dock with a cup of coffee. The house is wonderful, wouldn't change a thing! Roger and Elaine were so welcoming and responsive. When there was a kayak paddle missing they came within 10 minutes with a replacement! We would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
This cabin is amazing. Right on the water, has everything you need in the kitchen, and is perfect for a large family getaway or a trip with two, or even three families if you rent the optional bunk house as well. We had a group of 4 guys for a golf trip. We got rained out and couldn't play, so we just stayed at the cabin and had a great time telling stories and enjoying the view. Highly recommend and I would def rent again. Beautiful setting!
This was a perfect spot for our group to get away for a quiet, relaxing week in the woods. Roger and Elaine were wonderful hosts - very gracious and available for any questions. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with an unusually well-equipped kitchen for a rental and a large, covered back deck where we ate dinner and watched the sun set across the pond almost every night. And Ingham Pond is a wonderfully calm hide-away - large enough to do lots of swimming and exploring by kayak, while being a bit removed from busier lake destinations.
