Casita Dianna Condo with Spectacular Views!

Casita Dianna features 180-degree views of Banderas Bay, walking distance to all beaches, restaurants, shops and clubs, the Malecon and the Cathedral. The condo was completely rebuilt/remodeled in summer 2012. Accommodation includes living area with living, casual dining and kitchen, full patio with dining, master bedroom, and bathroom with washer/dryer.

The condo is very safe: The condos have 2 points of entry, one from the Hotel Brisas del Mar /Abedul St. side (highway to Mismaloya). This entrance requires you go through the lobby, across the deck and down 1/2 flight stairs. Alternatively, there is a stairway, up 1/2 flight, and thru a gate which is opened with a code.

The other entrance is from Amapas Street and is a direct way to and from the Beach. From Amapas Street, there is a locked gate (you will have the key), so very secure but requires a bit of exercise. There are six levels - made up of 3 flights of stairs and 2 ramps, with landings in between. One can also take a cab/Uber to/from Amapas Street to the hotel lobby entrance for approximately 45 pesos.

A short walk to Playa de Los Muertos, this condo is nicely appointed with desired large and small kitchen appliances, comfortable furniture and bed, spacious bathroom with large counter and mirror, as well as stacked washer/dryer unit inside. The large flat screen TV and available channels are fantastic. Though the beach cannot be seen, the view of Banderas Bay is wonderful from the pier to the Hotel Zone, with parasailors and FFBs gliding through the sky. Lance and Dianna are the best hosts! ...very responsive and accommodating.

Excellent stay for our week in Puerto Vallarta, never tired of our view of the ocean and watching the sun set from our balcony.We didn't take much advantage of the kitchen but it was well stocked - plenty of extra towels, cleaning supplies, etc..It was nice to have a separate bedroom and two different AC units - the living area was often quite comfortable with patio doors open and the ocean breeze coming in. The climb up the hill from Amapas Street a bit challenging on hot afternoons, but a quick shortcut to the beach. From the Romantic Zone an Uber back to front door was only 50-90 pesos if you didn't feel like walking.So convenient to the beach, Coco's and everything PV has to offer.

Alicia the cleaner was very nice. The ocean view was great. The AC in the bedroom was broken and we were not informed until the cleaner told us on arrival. The bed, indoor & outdoor furniture were not comfortable. The Teflon pans were all scratched. The chaise lounge sofa and bedroom throw blanket had a foul smell. We tried to reach the owners the morning before check out, but never heard back from them. I left a larger tip than was suggested by the owner because it sounded like the cleaner had not been paid.

Great location to enjoy romantic zone

This property had all that we needed for our stay. Well stocked with kitchen necessities, etc. great pool and sun deck area. Great views of the bay from the balcony.

Relaxing week in Puerto Vallarta

Everything was very easy about using this property and we were well-cared for. We appreciate the location--a great view, actually a pretty quiet neighborhood but just a few blocks from restaurants and beach clubs. The unit itself was very comfortable for the two of us.

Great location

This place is great for the view and location. The only downside is the amount of steps to climb so beware to the elderly or less mobile. The pool deck is adequate and the water is usually cool but the beach is only 2 blocks away. The unit is well stocked with all the essentials. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay

Absolutely loved our stay at Casa Diana! Very clean and has everything you need for your stay. The view from the terrace is amazing. Close to some of the best restaurants around. The stairs to the street require good physical condition but we’re worth it to work off all the great food. Manager Alicia provided a very detailed orientation and was very helpful.

Piece of paradise

Honestly, my boyfriend and I were blown away by this property. The pictures do not do it justice - the morning and sunset views are incredible. The owner was always reachable, and the property manager made herself available when we needed it. It is only a block from the beach, and not far from the main strip of restaurants & hotels. It was the perfect spot for a getaway.

10 Days in Paradise

We spent 10 days at Casita Diana this year. We could definitely have stayed longer. We love the old town with its cobbled streets and many, many restaurants. We did everything from street Taco's and Churro's to 5 star dinners. Puerto Vallarta is such a clean and welcoming town. You never feel unsafe, even when you get way off the Malecon. There wasn't anywhere we felt uncomfortable or unwelcome. Lots of Canadian and US permanent residents as well. We'll be back one day but, the bucket list is long!

More beautiful than the pictures!!!

We enjoyed a 7 night stay at Dianna’s condo and couldn’t have been more pleased with the comforts it provided us from comfortable bed and pillows, hot shower, well-equipped kitchen, close access to the beach and ohhhh, the fabulous view!!! We were fortunate to be there for a full moon and what a spectacular sight over the water! We were warned of the stairs and rams leading to the street but were ok with the exercise and the opportunity to stop while climbing, take a breather and enjoy the view. Dianna was very responsive to all of our inquiries and leaves a list of recommendations for her guests. We loved our stay in PV and hope to return one day and also return to Casita Dianna! Thank you Dianna, Lance and Alicia💕

A quick getaway from So. California

We decided to go to Puerto Vallarta a day early and stayed at The Maxwell about a 5 min walk from our final destination at Casitas Dianna's. The difference between The Maxwell and Las Brisas / Casitas Dianna's is one os part of the new construction going on the other is old and renovated. Casitas Dianna was clean, appointed nicely and set up with things we may need while in the room. The property mgr Alicia was tough to get ahold of at first but did a nice jobwhen we connected and showed us the lay of the land. Needless to say, the condo was close to the beach snd a short walk into town to eat, shop or go out to the bars. I would stay there againas it has all the pluses and accomodations that the new Msxwell's had. The view was amazing! We vacated for Alicia to prepare for the next arrival guest. We picked up pur bags which was stored for us and when we walked by the room nnoticed a nice bedspread was on the bed... we didnt have that and my partner mentioned the place looked all around better than when we arrived. When the day was done it really didn't matter... enjoy the view and ypur company and the locals and take in as much you can of the local color & flavors of PV... it is a special place and we were happy to be a part of. Le condo est bien situé pour un terme court une à 2 semaines, mais plus long comme nous le soir il y as la musique de 2 clubs qui est assez forte et qui devient fatiguant à la longue. Le complexe est très bien tenu. Aucun problème avec le condo en tant que tel.

Our 10 day stay at Casita Dianna

The condo was as nice as the pictures show and really well maintained. I only have positive comments about the condo. The manager Alicia was great to deal with and dropped by several times to make sure everything was okay. Alicia also arranged for our transportation back to the airport. The condo is in an older complex. The condo complex could use some updating but this didn’t impact our stay. The location is fantastic and great for walking to the malecon, restaurants and the beach. The beach is less than a five minute walk. I would recommend this condo if you a looking for a place close to the beach, restaurants and malecon but is probably not the place to go if you are looking for a fancy resort style swimming pool. Many other reviews have made comments regarding the stairs, personally I found they were great for a little extra exercise.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great. When we needed help with an issue it was dealt with quickly. Only complaint is the umbrella on the deck would be way more helpful if it had the ability to tilt, especially in the late afternoon sun and heat.

Absolutely fantastic!

The condo has everything you need. It is well-stocked and nicely appointed, I couldn't think of anything missing. The pool deck is wonderful, and actually, I never left it for the beach. The condo complex is very quiet and calm. Don't miss the great little grocery store just a few blocks away and the breakfast cafe right next door.

Quiet, efficient accommodations in the heart of the Romantic Zone

Great location! Easy drop down the stairs to the beach or out the front door to reach Old Town. Extremely well laid out floor plan with everything you need at your fingertips. Condo is cozy (not large), nice balcony, bedroom is quiet as a tomb at night. My biggest concern when looking to rent the unit was the noise factor given the proximity to the boom boom clubs. Heard nothing at night. Nada. Definitely a great value.

Great place and very safe

Our first time staying in PV. Lots of exercise getting up 6 flights but beside that we were so happy with the condo, location and view. Welcome letter was very helpful getting to know the area shops and restaurants. We explored a lot and always felt safe and welcome by both locals and tourists.

Great location with a spectacular view!

This was our second stay at Casa Dianna. We had a fantastic stay. Dianna was very responsive, helpful and accommodating as our flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the following day and was then also delayed. Her property manager, who is lovely, was very gracious and waiting for us upon our arrival. The accommodation is very well appointed with all you will need, modern updates and a lovely terrace from where we watched whales jumping daily. There is a pool one floor above with a great terrace with an ocean view. The one thing I will mention is there is a fair trek of stairs to get down to beach level but if you would rather, you can take a cab or an Uber from the pool level down for about $3. I liked the exercise so mostly took the stairs. This stay was wonderful just as our first. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dianna for Everything!
