Elyssa's Escape is absolutely the perfect place to experience a peaceful few days. Named after a beautiful young lady, Elyssa's Cabin is elegant and full of light, just like Elyssa! This beautiful cabin is the perfect romantic getaway for two and large enough for small families. Pay close attention to the decor inside the cabin as you might come across a surprise or two!
The fully equipped kitchen allows for a wonderful dining experience with an island for extra counter space and a dining room table and chairs. The open floor plan allows you to prepare a meal and still be a part of the family gathering. Large gable windows allow plenty of natural light in and help to create a warm, inviting family living area. This cabin features a bedroom downstairs and a large loft room upstairs with an antique four poster bed. The deck off the front of the house is large and offers patio seating. The lower deck features an uncovered hot tub with a fabulous view of the night sky. This is the perfect place for star gazing and relaxing. Elyssa's Escape also has a private fire ring off to the side of the cabin that's perfect for gathering around to share memories or tell a scary tale or two. Elyssa's Escape is a part of the Last Resort Campground. The courtyard area of the Last Resort Campground features a large circle driveway with an incredible rock fire pit area and playground. Eight cabins set amidst the lushness of the hardwood forest, this relaxing getaway greets you with a casual invitation to come and enjoy. We provide the firewood for the group area and outdoor lighting. You just bring the marshmallows! PET FRIENDLY - $15 PER PET, PER DAY. (Select your dates then select "Travelers" to add the number of pets to your reservation.)

Laundry room sink didn’t work. Ceiling fan in the main living area didn’t work. Dish washer wouldn’t lock. Kitchen sink hot water faucet came unscrewed. Had to screw it back on. Laundry room door code stopped working after 2 times of locking (yes I read the email about it swelling and everything else about it). Cabin wouldn’t cool down well enough to get everybody comfortable. Kids woke up after an hour of sleeping and were sweating and crying. Bumped the air to 65 and was still hot so we had to leave early. Woulda been fine for just me but husband and kids were too whiny to enjoy it.

Responsive Host, but Cabin Fall short

I visited with my family, who were visiting from India. We were hoping to provide them with a cozy cabin experience. The online pictures showed a spacious place that 10 people could sleep comfortably. However, upon arrival, we found that the cabin was suitable for only 5 people. The beds and couches were very old as well as the property, and Sleep-in-bed was broken and unusable. Despite these issues, the host was very responsive, and an elderly gentleman was extremely friendly and helpful, especially when we encountered problems with the jacuzzi. Other than this disappointment we had good stay

Door was unlocked

At arriving when try to open the door it was unlocked, so we decided to leave the house; we felt uncomfortable. I let the owner know the next day early in the morning and she careless.., saying that I should called before.

I could have sent him over, I could have upgrade you to another cabin that you felt more comfortable in. I'm sorry Nereida, I can't help you if you don't give me a chance.
