Thank you for the kind review. Glad the view at CAPTAIN - Captains Cabana made it worth the price. We appreciate the note about the pool — it’s meant for a refreshing post-beach dip rather than lap swimming, and we’ll make that clearer in the listing. Hope to welcome you back. - The Tybee Team

Graduation Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this house because we wanted to be at the beach and it was large enough to accommodate our entire entire family for our daughter's graduation from grad school. The house was beautiful, clean and nicely decorated, and the views from the balcony were amazing. I could sit there all day and watch the ships go by! Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. It was on the small size, as was mentioned in a couple reviews, but it was perfect for them. We went to the beach one day. It is a bit of a walk, but not terrible. The kids enjoyed playing in the sand, but if you want to swim, I would drive or walk over to North Beach. The beach in front of the house is at the mouth of the river and there was a bit of a current. The kids, and a few of the adults :), enjoyed all the games in the lower level. There are a few minor things that were in need of repair, and we mentioned these to the management company when we left. My only complaint/suggestion to the owners would be to provide beach towels as no one likes to fly with them. They take up too much space in your luggage. Other than that, we thought it was perfect!
Response from VrboOwner on 16 Oct 2026
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear the home was a wonderful fit for your family’s special celebration. It sounds like you made some wonderful memories, from enjoying the beautiful balcony views and watching the ships pass by to spending time together in the pool and game room. We appreciate you sharing your helpful suggestions and bringing your observations to our attention. Feedback like yours is valuable to our team as we continue working to make each guest’s stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Thank you again for choosing to celebrate such a special milestone with us! We’re so glad you had a memorable stay and hope to welcome you and your family back to Tybee in the future. The Tybee Team
