This is a very clean and nicely furnished apartment in a neighborhood with great restaurants, grocery stores, and vibrant nightlife, all within walking distance. The photos in the listing actually make the apartment look smaller than it is. It felt spacious, and it has a roof deck dedicated to the unit that is very pleasant, but is not mentioned in the property listing. There is parking on the street or in nearby parking lots for a few hours at a time, but for overnight parking, we used the clicknpark app recommended by the hosts, and that was great. The listing mentions a paid parking lot behind the building. We did not find such a lot.The main downside for us was the presence of the dance club in the building right next door that we wished had been mentioned in the listing. The club plays very loud dance music from 10 pm - 3 am Thursday - Sunday, and the beat of the music can be felt through the floors. This may not bother everyone, and having a white noise app on your phone and/or earplugs may be sufficient to block the sound, though it was not sufficient for us. Once we notified the hosts, they offered to move us right away to another property nearby, so one could rent this place and then ask to move to another place if the noise becomes a problem.
We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO rental in Montreal! The property was clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, blasting ice-cold air during the scorching Montreal heat which was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring.Home is located on a lively, shop-filled street, the place was surprisingly quiet, with only minor city sounds that didn’t disrupt our stay (and being from Chicago, didn't bother me a bit). The showers were excellent, with endless hot water, and the kitchen was well-equipped with glasses, silverware, dishes, and a dishwasher. The host was incredibly responsive, providing clear and easy-to-follow instructions that made check-in and our stay seamless. The neighborhood felt very safe, which added to our peace of mind.My only minor complaint is that each bedroom had a radiator emitting low-level heat, with no way to turn it off. Even with the fantastic AC in the living area, the bedrooms got a bit warm at night. We eventually found large fans in the closet, which helped a bit, but being able to turn off the radiators would have been ideal.Overall, a great experience, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal! Easily the best rental I've ever booked!
Un séjour exceptionnel dans un appartement exceptionnel. Tout a été bien pensé. L'appartement était d'une propreté impeccable. Notre hôte très à l'écoute et hyper réactif . C'est l'une des meilleures adresses sur Montréal !
