We had a great stay and felt the rental was an excellent value for the money - honestly, even better than we expected. The house is older and has some quirky Cape charm, but it was comfortable, well-equipped, and a great fit for our trip. One thing worth noting is that the house handled a heat wave surprisingly well; all three bedrooms have their own window A/C units, and there is an additional unit in the living room. We found that to be more than enough to keep everyone comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the sleeping capacity. In addition to the bedrooms shown in the listing, there are four twin beds that were not mentioned in the description or pictured - two on the upper floor and two in the basement. One of the best features is the location - the bike trail is essentially right next to the house (about 50 feet away, just up the hill), with two convenient access points. We took advantage of both the bikes and kayaks that were provided, which was a really nice bonus - thank you for making those available. We did run out of propane for the grill during our stay, but it was an easy fix since Eastham Market is only about three minutes away. We swapped the tank and the owner promptly reimbursed us for the cost, which we appreciated. The basement has a bit of the natural moisture you would expect from a home situated near a pond, but we did not notice any mold issues or anything that affected our stay. Overall, this is a great place for the price and we would return.
