Pristine,spacious1 bedroom apartment sleeps 4, only steps to the beautiful white sandy beach of Anna Marie Island. Freshly decorated, brand new well equipped kitchen, huge king size bed, queen sleeper in lounge, large flat screen T.V., wi-fi broadband.
New flooring throughout whole apartment, new bath, shower and bathroom re tiled.
large and quiet pool - only 10 apartments on site,large laundry room on site, the free trolley runs the length of the island and the bus stop is 10 yards away
Great shops and restaurants all close by including the famous Sandbar restaurant, a noted wedding venue.
A great location in the heart of Anna Marie Island, visit us once and you will want to return again and again.
PLEASE NOTE : During January to Mid April 2022 all bookings are Saturday to Saturday.

Great location

Loved the location just a few houses from the beach. Also good to be close to shopping and restaurants especially if you don’t have a car! The owner’s communication was prompt and friendly! The unit was very clean and well stocked, including paper goods. Plenty of towels plus beach chairs and umbrellas. Great pool area!

Our Time

It’s beautiful, relaxing, close to everything and a view of the sunset. We visit friends, we make new friends, we swim in the pool, sit on the beach, shop, and it’s relaxing.

Great Beach Stay

The apartment was nice and clean and very close to the beach. We took advantage of the beach chairs and umbrella and close to a trolly stop also. Pool was nice. We would love to stay there again

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach

Everything was perfect. Highly recommend Palm Cay 8 for the pool and 60 steps to the beach. Close to Publix and other stores for necessities.

Wonderful stay

Palm cay is a beautiful property that is well maintained. We stayed in Unit 8 on the second floor. It was clean, nicely decorated with eclectic art and furniture, and a well appointed kitchen. Beach chairs, towels and umbrellas were available, which is a huge plus. James, the owner, was in communication and checking was easy. We enjoyed our stay!

Return Destination

We love this property and have been coming for a few years. It’s welcoming. It’s immaculate inside and out, along with a pool, laundry and the friendliest neighbors.There’s parking or use of trolley, the beach is a 1/2 block away, shopping and restaurants nearby. Every time we come we find something new and amazing. Stay here and leave room for us, because we’re coming back.

Great Week

The condo was fantastic. It was very clean and well appointed with many extras. We enjoyed the CD and DVR collection as well as the beach chairs and cooler. It is a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Loved everything about the place.. The king sized bed is great. Looking forward to returning.

Always a great spot

This was my second time staying in Palm Cay. One of my favorite aspects of this unit is the balcony, which is a great spot to drink your morning coffee, listen to the birds, and people-watch. Super convenient to so much: one block (more like half a block) to the beach, an easy walk to several good shopping strips (Walgreens, liquor store, beach supplies, Ace hardware store, ice cream, restaurants) and to the Publix supermarket. We had rented a car, which I might skip next time and just use the free trolley service instead. Always a great time at this location.

The Perfect Place

Your centrally located. Our home is just the right size, bdrm, bath, liv rm, kitchen. Parking space out front, pool in court yard, the gulf a half block away. You’re near a grocery store, shopping, restaurants, trolley stop, etc. it’s A-1. We’re coming back.

Anna Marie Island weekend

Great location with a very short walk to the beach. Once we parked our car we never used it again until we had to leave. There are great restaurants and shops a short walking distance and the free trolley has a stop right on the corner next to the front of the condo building which takes you anywhere you need to go on Anna Marie Island. This unit had a great updated kitchen and all the pictures you see are truly representative to the unit. It has a personal feel with everything from CD's to movies and books to the artwork on the walls. Thanks for letting us stay we will be back again for sure!

Charming apartment in great location

Apartment was exceptionally clean. There was not a grain of sand on the floor when we got there. Kitchen is well-equipped. Lots of towels and beach towels provided. Beach chairs and umbrellas were at property, but we didn’t use them since we brought our own. They looked to be in very good condition though. Loved the short walk to the beach! Pool was very nice and never crowded since there are so few apts. in the complex. Easy communication with host. Unlike other places that we’ve stayed, this place didn’t require us to basically clean the apt. before we left. We will definitely stay again!

AWESOME LOCATION!

If you want to be steps from the beautiful beach, then rent this place!! We loved the location of this VRBO. You cannot see the beach from the rental, but it is literally steps away! My husband and I had a beautiful Thanksgiving Week in Anna Maria. The sun set each evening at 5:30 PM - BEAUTIFUL!! There are 2 benches at the beach opening if you want to sit there to watch. But the rental did come with beach chairs and umbrellas, we used them daily, so nice since we flew in from Michigan. This one bedroom rental is spacious, clean and decorated really beachy cute. We found the pillows a bit hard for our taste, but that is the only negative for us. Hot shower & plenty of towels, along with beach towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals (freezer has ice maker!)(we soon found out that Anna Maria is a bit pricy on drinks & food) - it was all ok, we made due. Walgreens is right at the end of the road, a very easy walk, picked up sunscreen, bar of soap, liquor, wine, pop and Starbucks cold Coffee drinks. We had friends pick us up at the Sarasota Airport and they graciously took us to Winn Dixie (they said it was less expensive than Publix, which we could have walked too as well) - we bought the needed essentials to make breakfast & lunch at rental. We did one breakfast out at Peaches, it was short walk next to the Walgreens, very good French toast and omelets. When we looked for dinner places, we tired to focus on those with outdoor seating because of COVID. You can take the Anna Maria FREE Trolley North or South - (stops right out in front of rental, just tell the driver where you want to go) to get to dinner places. Our favorite night was at Harry's (Trolley North), good food and live music on a lovely patio. We also spent one night swimming in the heated pool (WARM, felt great!), ordering in Dominos Pizza/Salad (they deliver for a $4 delivery fee) and playing cards. A few mornings we took the Free Trolley North or South - to the North, we got off at the end Anna Maria Pier and then walked to Bean Point (about 1.5 miles) and walked the beach back to the Sand Bar Restaurant area (another mile or so) It is a BEAUTIFUL walk! - ended up at MY AMI French Food, sat outside on their patio, had the Croque Veggie, it was AMAZING!! We highly recommend this rental, owners were fabulous and we would love to come back next year!! THANK YOU!!

Amazing!

We were there attending my grandson's destination wedding. The condo was perfect for me, my 14 year old granddaughter and daughter in law! One very short block from the beautiful beach! Everything you can possibly need was included at the condo. We did rent a golf cart to get around as the area was all residential and most restaurants were further north. We did take the free trolley to a restaurant the first night but the driver let us off after we told him where we were going only to find out it had closed. Since I fractured my knee I had a walker. That's when we knew we needed the golf cart. But the island is amazing, restaurants were great but expensive & since we had all those spices and condiments we cooked 2 nights while there. It was well worth the money & we enjoyed our stay very much. James Ferguson was easy to contact & responded quickly, & his housekeeper, Jennifer, did an excellent job of keeping the condo clean. The smoke detector chirped one night and she was there within 2 hours of calling. All in all we had a fantastic time! Would definitely stay again!

This property had everything we needed and a few surprises too. We loved to music selection and the CD's. Nice pool and the beach just a few steps away. James was easy to work with and answered all the questions we had very promptly.

Perfect for us!!

We loved this place. It was just the perfect size for us, very clean, with good counter space in both bath and kitchen. Location was excellent. We were concerned bed might be too soft, but it was just fine, and the ceiling fans were awesome and the quietest in the history of the world, haha. Thank you, we'll be back!

We are a Scottish couple who visited Anna Marie Island 5 years ago and fell in love with it. We really appreciated its unspoilt nature, fantastic beaches and beautiful weather.
it has enough shops and restaurants to cater for all tastes without being busy or overcrowded, it is known locally as 'Paradise' and we wholeheartedly agree.

Quite simply - Location, Location, Location !
It is just steps to the most gorgeous white sandy uncrowded beach.
It is a small complex with only 10 apartments located on the famous Gulf drive with all amenities to hand.
It is the perfect spot for couples to enjoy
