A nice stretch of the legs walking distance from the U of I campus, and on a bus line directly to the Illini Union. Within walking distance of parks. 5 min. to Carle Hospital. Walk straight west and dead end at Memorial Stadium. Unique flow-through design will make you feel connected to all parts of the house.

the location was close enough to the campus that made for a short drive, not necessarily walkable to the quad. host was very clear about check in/out procedures. had zero issues with any of the facilities.

Reminded me of our summer lake house in Michigan! Loved it!

Only stayed one night as I was driving my children from our home in Texas to our old home in Michigan to throw an open house for my oldest son who just graduated high school. I have a 12 year old severely sensitive autistic son who I have yet to get on an airplane so I am stuck with these long drives if we want to leave the state. Hotels are horrible and I have to book at least 3 rooms for my children and myself to all have enough beds and then it’s so much work having to lug bags and everything else up to whatever floor we are on and sometimes don’t even have room next to each other either. Then figuring out food, if there is a restaurant in the hotel, or order in from somewhere and eat absolutely terrible food. Needless to say I really am not a fan of hotels! So to have this house already equipped with everything I need to cook a real meal, and Walmart close enough to deliver groceries before we arrive, a real kitchen table, living room and bedrooms is like absolute heaven! It’s like owning summer homes everywhere you need with VRBO. This house has a fenced in back yard that is great if you have dogs or small children, the layout is one of those almost square shape type houses with rooms on each side, the floor plan is not open which I enjoyed for a change. It was just like you would imagine an old summer house to be set up, or if you went to visit your grandparents old house, it’s an older home but very clean and comfortable! Would definitely go back! Easy check in!
