Perfect Family Vacation Getaway!!

The Sandcastle is the perfect way to spend your vacation with family or friends.

Our home was created for large and small groups alike. Upstairs, we have four large bedrooms, all with private baths and their own Smart TV. We also have a separate living space on the ground floor (accessed from the outside) with another bedroom/bathroom with two double beds, a large game room with two queen-size sleeper sofas, large Smart TV, Foosball, a card table, games, a locker room style bathroom/shower and a ping pong table.

We are one of the few screened-in porches on the island and you will fall instantly in love with rocking in the chairs while taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean that have made Holden Beach one of the most popular family beaches around.

We know how much we love having our furry friends with us on our vacation so we want you to have yours, too. Our home is pet-friendly and they love lounging around on the back porch, too. For larger families or groups, consider renting two homes. We have a wonderful house next door to this one... 'Byrds Eye View' (VRBO # 4587897).

We have stocked our home to help you forget about the busy life and fall in love with kicking off your shoes and getting back in touch with fun and relaxation. Boogie boards and sand toys are here for the kids (ok, the adults too) and we even have a library of family friendly DVDs for the movie watchers. We love our beach house and we think you will too.

This home is a gem on the beach. We stayed with 10 people and 3 dogs over the christmas week. The bathroom for each room, the huge table and room for all of to mingle, play games and watch TV when we were not out in the back deck or on the beach was perfect. Is this house a brand new home, no, but there is something to be said about not having to worry about every little thing you do or touch. This was a comfortable and relaxing vacation home away from home. We would stay again!

Our family had such a wonderful stay at the Sandcastle! The house exceeded our expectations, and the porch with that ocean view was spectacular!The kitchen was fully stocked, the game room was an added plus, and each bedroom had its own on-suite bathroom. Being dog-friendly, our furbaby absolutely enjoyed the porch as well!I highly recommend the Sancastle... Debbie, our host was very helpful and kind as well. Judy Robinson

The house was clean and well equipped. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Very few steps and a short path to the beach. Our family, three generations of adults, felt like this house was perfect. And that dining room table is one of a kind…perfect for our cake baking/decorating competition. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect in every way

We had an amazing vacation in this home. It is comfortable and spacious with a gorgeous beach view. We have visited many beach rentals over the course of time and this beach house is by far the best!

Sandcastle FUN!

The Kinsey family has been coming to Holden for years. They tent camped in the 1950's and were hooked. Now their kids are all grown with children of their own and they are blessed to be able to enjoy their home with four generations!

We hope you will enjoy your stay and that Holden Beach will become your favorite place like it is ours. I have known the owners for 40 years and have been managing their properties for 14 years. We have always had a fur baby and wouldn't think of heading to the beach without him. We want you to be able to bring your pet too.

What makes this property unique

Our home has one of the few screened-in porches on the Island. When the weather chases us off the beach, the rockers and view make the day a success and the recreation room downstairs gets the children away from our peaceful listening of the ocean waves.
