What a wonderful throwback to the 60s! Loved the decor and ambiance of books. Bed was very comfy. Idelic amongst the forest !

White Noise

Very cute & cozy. I would add a sound proof door between bathroom and owners abode. If I can hear teaspoons stirring, I think other tinkling can also be heard... just saying. Very comfy bed! Delightful birds and grounds! Nice breakfast yogurts and granola...

We added more soundproofing after your review. It is true that our place is very quiet, without traffic or TV and mostly the sounds of birds and frogs. We have a radio/cd player if it is too quiet!

Rural peace under the stars

This cute cabin is made for those who enjoy that old cabin feel in the woods without having to go too far out. The jetted tub didn't have enough hot water to fill up fully, but what a lovely view from the tub! There is a musty/old smoke smell along with wafting cat pee that hits ya every now and again. But it's a lovely little space to crash.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this lovely place in the woods. We were in town for U of O graduation, and the drive between Eugene and Veneta was quick and easy, nice to be in the countryside. Tanya was an excellent host, greeting us in person and responding quickly to messages. Highlights were the wildlife (baby turkeys!) and the fresh-picked cherries from Tanya's extensive fruit trees and garden. Shopping in Veneta is close-by and offered what we needed (groceries, etc.).
