THE SPACE
A Nice Place Casita was once a bedroom in the main home, thoughtfully renovated into a separate guest space with its own entrance. It’s quiet, welcoming, and infused with local charm.
Inside, you'll find:
~ Full-size windows that bring in natural light
~ Original oil paintings by Sybil Williams, a beloved Tucson artist (and my grandmother), that give the space a warm, personal feel
~ Cozy armchair for reading, relaxing, or watching TV
~ Queen-sized bed with blackout curtains for a restful night's sleep
~ Smart TV with streaming access (no cable or antenna)
~ High-speed internet for work, browsing, or entertainment
~ Dedicated closet with space for hanging clothes and storing suitcases
The kitchenette includes a 10 cu ft refrigerator with freezer, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and basic cooking tools. It’s ideal for reheating meals or cooking simple dishes while you’re away from home.
The full private bathroom includes a combination tub/shower, fresh towels, and a bar of handmade soap from my sister brand, Alō Goods.
NEIGHBORHOOD & GETTING AROUND
The casita is located in a peaceful, mid-century neighborhood with wide streets, mature desert landscaping, and easy access to everything Tucson has to offer.
Nearby:
~ The Loop trail (2 blocks away)
~ Tucson Medical Center, Banner UMC, and other major hospitals
~ University of Arizona campus and medical school
~ Sabino Canyon, Rillito River trail, and Reid Park Zoo
~ Local grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and live music venues
Transportation options:
~ Free public transportation route nearby
~ Optional eBike rental available by day or for your entire stay (ask for details after booking)
HOST INTERACTION & SUPPORT
I live in the main house and work from a converted garage space onsite. You may see me biking by or tending the garden, but I respect your privacy and won’t intrude on your stay.
You might occasionally hear the normal sounds of life through the shared wall—similar to what you'd expect in an apartment. If you’re working night shifts or have specific quiet hour needs, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
I’m always happy to answer questions, recommend local spots, or help troubleshoot anything that comes up.

PET POLICY
One well-behaved pet is welcome. This space is best suited for a single animal, as it’s compact and intended for solo guests.
~ Please supervise your pet at all times while outside. My cats roam the yard and are generally friendly, but they don’t always love surprises
