You can walk to many beaches: Charley Young Beach - The Cove - and Kalama Park which has showers, picnic tables and bathrooms. Learn to surf, watch whales when in season, see turtles along ocean paths. It is next door to South Maui Gardens: 'Maui's Hidden Oasis' tropical setting with 14 delicious food trucks, with live entertainment, Luaus, Hula Shows, Comedy Shows & a Farmers Market. You can walk to “The Triangle”: South Maui‘s Entertainment Center; live music, bars, local shopping and restaurants.

This place has everything we needed. It has a fan and AC and a lot of beach supplies so we are always comfortable. The bed is comfy too. The host Ligia is very responsive and offers lots of help!The location can't be beat. Walkable to lots of food trucks, restaurants, Foodland and many beaches! South Maui Gardens is right next door and it's such a chill place with live music, shows, events. We learned to surf at the beach right across from the studio!

Perfect Location & Great Host

Perfect location and walking distance to beach, food trucks and shopping. Very nice, cozy place and a great host. a last-minute trip but a wonderful break and much needed vacation. My host was excellent and very sweet and accommodating. For the price the accommodation were great. Very clean and I had everything I needed.

Great get away spot

This property was ideal for our week on Maui. It was close to the beach and restaurants. It was very clean and came with all the amenities that we required, including beach chairs and towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards and coolers. It is small but since we spent every day out and about we were happy with it. Would consider staying there again.

Great location

We had a great stay, we regret running out to the store to get necessities because once you look around the unit pretty much what you need is there. From beach equipment to cleaning supplies. There are a lot of food carts, restaurants etc in the area that you can just walk to. One of the highlights for us was the beach, the beach is right across the street. The water is warm and pretty. We stayed in the water up to our necks for about an hour. We definitely recommend staying here, if you need anything the owner is available to accommodate.

Perfect place to stay in Kihei!

Ligia was a fabulous host! She welcomed us with great kindness and even extended our check-out time. The location of this oasis could not be more ideal - it sits right in between the best food truck park ever and the ocean! It was perfect for me and my boyfriend. Thanks for all that you did, Ligia!

Central location, easy access for food and beaches.

If you dont have a car, this is a great location. Close to food, bars and beaches. Plenty of activities close by. It is a studio without a kitchen, but we planned on eating out most days anyways. They had boogie boards and beach gear at the studio. The owner communicated extremely well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Extra Island Time

Great location with overstocking of amenities. Everything was great except the quality of the A/C unit. It's a small room but still wouldn't cool the room till 4am or so. all else was perfect.

Excellent Maui getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this apartment. The room was just as described. It is located on the 6th floor and there are elevators or stairs to access the room. Parking was not a problem. You are across the street from the ocean, one block away from brunch spots or food carts. The area is quite convenient. Communication was prompt and helpful. The room itself is simple but the small amenities like beach chairs and boogie boards are a nice touch. We would stay here again.

Kihei Aloha e ke Aloha Lagia!

The property is as advertized. It came for me at the time I needed the space and location for moving back to the islands. Being part of the solution, it did have small roaches coming up from bathroom vanity area. Otherwise timing for some true upgrades will always be worth the investment. Me ke Aloha nui a hui hou!

It was economical, great location and pretty cute!! I thought it was a nice touch, two chilled beers in the mini fridge with cold glasses even. We actually thought it was well appointed and probably would stay again. However, I was disappointed that when I let them know there were long black hairs more than 10 on the bathroom floor not because I wanted anything compensated but because I wanted to bring it to their attention for something to pay attention to, I heard nothing, not a word, not even an “ I m sorry we missed that” Yet they texted back about another matter, I was wondering about parking. Anyway, overall it was good for the price!! I would recommend

Cozy Room!

The room was overall in great shape and clean. The host provided additional items such as beach towels and chairs. Although there’s no kitchen, the host has a microwave and refrigerator. The room was honestly a perfect fit for what we were looking for. The location is absolutely ideal and within walking distance to so many fun places to check out. The little touches the host has throughout the room was very much appreciated.

The Island Surf is conveniently located on the South Shore in the heart of Kihei. Shopping, activities and the beach are just steps away. We are within walking distance of great shopping, restaurants of all types, a grocery store, car rental, South Maui Gardens, The Triangle.

Enjoy the swimming pool located on the 2nd level and rent bicycles, surfboards, snorkel equipment, and diving equipment right in the building! Want to try your hand at surfing? Rent a surfboard and walk directly across the street to enjoy riding the waves.

The Island Surf is located in the heart of Kihei, across the street from The Cove beach and Kalama Ocean Park. The Cove is known as the best place in Maui to learn how to surf; sign up for surfing lessons, carry your surfboard across the street to the gentle surf and begin your Maui Surfing Adventure. Rent surf boards, paddle boards, diving equipment, and kayaks right in the building. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Walk to any of the many delicious restaurants from award winning Food Trucks to five star fine dining and night life.

You are located in the center of tourist attractions: you can walk to restaurants, grab a shaved ice, or stop and have a bite to eat, and people watch, at one of the sidewalk cafes. Well known as a great place for locals and visitors alike to enjoy Maui Sunsets, watch accomplished and beginner surfers, whale watch during season and home of canoe clubs. What makes this property unique

You are located in the Heart if Kihei. The Cove is across the street and known for its gentle waves and sunsets. Watch for turtles eating off the rocks. Kihei Road is the main street in and you will find the center of Kihei's tourist attractions.

On the 1st floor of the Island Surf building you can sign up for surfing lessons, (the Cove’s waves are perfect for beginners), Grab and Go, Saltwater Cafe restaurant, get a massage, hair cut or even a tattoo. Next to the building is a huge nursery and food truck park, Blue Door Bread Company and coffee spot.

The Island Surf has two elevators. WiFi included. Free Parking for one car.
