Just Reduced Value Season! 3rd Floor Unit Steps from the Beach
The best of Kihei Akahi - Quiet 3rd floor unit in the C Building with views of Mt. Haleakala, and the garden from the lanai. Walk across the street to Kamaole Beach Park II for excellent swimming, snorkeling with occasional sea turtles, or strolling the beach. There are two on-site swimming pools, two BBQ areas, a tennis court (rackets & balls available to borrow at office), and the grounds are a botanical garden with abundant flowers and fruit trees.
This one bedroom/one bathroom condo can sleep up to four guests with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a sofa bed in the air conditioned living room. The living room opens up to a lanai with gorgeous ocean, garden, and mountain views. In the winter keep an eye out for humpback whales breaching and spouting as they pass by.
The kitchen and bathroom were remodeled in 2008. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the cooking utensils you will need. The in-unit washer/dryer is convenient for washing beach towels or clothes. The unit is also stocked with beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie board, cooler, sand toys, etc.), guide books, novels, games, and more. There is free private WiFi in the condo as well as a TV and DVD player for in-unit entertainment.
During these covid 19 times we are keeping the unit empty for 1 day in between check-ins and we have added extra cleaning time.

My wife and I live an hour north of San Francisco near the coast on a family farm. We have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren so far (our son and grandson are pictured on the surfboard just off Kamaole Beach across the street from the condo). I am a general contractor and my wife works at our local community clinic. She also grows a variety of fruit which she makes into jam and sells to local stores. We make it down to Kihei 1 to 3 times a year and have had some great family vacations.
Why they chose this property
We first visited Maui on our honeymoon in 1974 and have enjoyed going back over the years. When looking to buy a condo we rented a unit in Kihei Akahi and decided it was the best complex for us - with convenient access to a family-friendly beach, beautiful grounds, and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.
