Great location, easy to get around, and that rooftop view delivers. Listing was accurate, place was clean, no complaints whatsoever. Would book again in a heartbeat.
The space was exactly as described. Centrally located to everything we planned. The host was very responsive. Will definitely stay again, if available, for future visits.
The location was great, felt like a safe neighborhood. The house was clean and nicely kept, up to date. Parking is limited and there are a lot of stairs. Kitchen and living room are on one floor and bedroom is on the second. You have to climb a large set of stairs to get to each. It is a nice proximity to the casino and opera house and many nice restaurants. Would stay here again if ever in the area.
Absolutely adorable 3 level townhome with rooftop. I shall return time and time again to rent Alexis' spot. Be prepared to climb a bunch of stairs, not for the faint of heart. We truly got our workout in during our stay...no complaints on my part, my butt says, thank you.

Doors were opening lights turned on by themselves while trying to sleep. Slept an hour and left. Waste of my money.
The place was clean and easy to access. It would have been nice to be able to use the garage, but totally understand why not. Parking was easy to find in the back of the building and had no issues getting in and out. The neighborhood seemed safe and quiet. You could hear heavy motorcycle traffic at night, which was not ideal. It didn’t last all night and was easy enough to drown out some of the noise, but overall, everything was quiet. The only thing that threw me off, was the actual layout of the apartment. Walking in to the home, was the garage and HVAC unit. Walked upstairs to find the living room and kitchen with a half bath. Walked up more stairs to find the bedroom, laundry room, and master bathroom. Then there was another set of stairs that led to the rooftop terrace. This didn’t bother us but was not expecting it. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the Detroit area.

It’s a nice place to stay until you need something from the host. 11:30pm I came back to unit and several alarm systems were indicating low batteries with loud audible beeps. I called host and she dismissively told me to go get batteries at the gas station then instructed me to get on a chair then onto a taller barstool and try to replace the batteries. I felt very unsafe. Then after replacing batteries, the entire ADT SYSTEM went off and caused every alarm in the property to sound for over two hours until 2 am. She dismissively gave me the number of adt after saying she could send someone out sometime. They helped trouble shoot the system and we found out they weren’t properly installed and were missing the tamper hardware so the only fix was me going thru the property and removing, unplugging, and removing every alarm on the property. I sustained hearing damage and will be going to the doctor tomorrow for it. After the summary, she accused me of causing the issues and was very rude and unprofessional during the whole process. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Thank you for your review, Casey. I would like to provide clarification regarding the smoke detector issue that occurred during your stay.
At approximately 11:00 p.m., you informed me that a smoke detector was going off and asked whether I had a step stool and replacement batteries available. I advised you that those items were located in the garage. After opening the smoke detector, you stated that the battery did not fit. I then informed you that the appropriate batteries could be purchased from the gas station across the street and that I would reimburse any cost.
After the battery was replaced, the trouble alarm was activated, which then caused the full alarm system to sound. From approximately 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., I remained available and actively assisted by contacting ADT, calling you, and continuing to troubleshoot the issue. During that time, I offered multiple times to send my local maintenance technician to the property to resolve the issue in person. That offer was not accepted, so I continued assisting remotely.
After about an hour of troubleshooting, I advised that the best next step would be to contact ADT directly for further support.
This occurred on Friday evening. On Sunday, the day of checkout, I was informed that all four smoke detector units had been removed, including the bases, leaving exposed wiring. What began as a simple battery-related issue that could have been addressed by my local maintenance technician has now become a more significant
