The Iron Seahorse

We had a fantastic stay at The Iron Seahorse in Surf City! The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and stress-free vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances, utensils, and cookware we could ask for, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus for our family. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to local shops and restaurants. There was plenty of space for everyone, and we really appreciated that our dog was welcome too. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for families and pet owners!

The entire bottom level was useless for 2 days due to the A/C unit being broken, staying an average of 83-85 degrees. 4 people were forced to sleep on the floor on the 2nd floor for 2 nights. The rest of the house was okay but we were cramped for 2 days with lots of frustration amongst us. We had to amend our plans for those two days trying to get the A/C issue resolved. Finally, we received some portable A/C units to use in the bottom level which made it bearable.This is an exorbitant amount to pay for partial use of the unit.We were pleased with the responsiveness of the host and were grateful for that. We will not be staying again.
