The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please place all used towels and sheets in the shower of the first floor bathroom.
Please empty all trash cans and place all trash bags in the trash bin inside of the garage. No need to separate.
Please clean up after your pets and pickup any pet waste in the yard using the provided bags. Please place any/all used dishes into the dishwater and start it using the provided detergent.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No shoes within the house. Pool Table: No food or drinks on the pool table. Massage Chair: No children or adults over 250 pounds.
Pets: Guests are responsible for any/all clean up and any/all damages from pets. Do not allow pets on the furniture. Do not leave pets unattended.
Events: Events may be allowed with prior approval. No Parties. Livingroom Fireplace: Please do not use the fireplace.

Peaceful Getaway

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful vacation. Plenty of room in the house and having our own dock, firepit, and yard without having people on top of us was very relaxing.

Lake time

We had a great stay at this home. There was everything we needed and lots of room to spread out. The lake was beautiful day and night. My family really enjoyed our time at the house and the lake.

Host was excellent and allowed us to check in a few hrs early since we arrived from North Carolina a bit sooner than expected. I really can’t say enough good things about him. The property was nice as well except for a few things. First was the fact it listed the fireplace as an amenity and I solely booked it because it was in a snow belt with a fireplace only to find out the fireplace place is not in working order and had a sign stating not to light it for any reason. That right away really upset me. I drove 11 hrs to sit in front of a fireplace and watch it snow with my wife. Second came at bedtime when we pulled back the sheets in the bed downstairs that overlooks the lake. We found hair throughout the bed as well as a two foot long hair on my pillow. Upon stripping the bed to wash it my wife found a used condom just under the side of the bed. Rooms upstairs were slightly better but still not as clean as they should be. Carpets had fake pine needles throughout the living room so it obviously wasn’t vacuumed or cleaned properly either. Pet owners also beware this property sits feet from a fairly busy road but does have a good backyard.

North Shore Oneida Lake

Prior to arrival the host communicated very well with me. The home is an older lake home with modern upgrades to included cold ac and has everything you could need. I brought my boat with me and found a lauch close to the home. There is a newly installed dock that I was able to tie off to and leave in the water for the weekend. The only negative I have with the property is that it is not handicap friendly. There is lips seperating most rooms, stairs and a large hill to get to the lake shore.

We live less than 5 minutes away and love to spend time at this property enjoying the lake in the summer and ice fishing in the winter!

Why they chose this property

We are local and enjoy the small town atmosphere that this location brings. From the local diner to the grocery store around the corner, everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming.

What makes this property unique

This property has excellent lake access with a sandy bottom for the summers and is located less than 1/4 mile away (walking distance) to the Oswego County Recreational Trail for walking/biking/hiking/horseback riding/ATVs/Snowmobiles/Etc. Great ice fishing right out in front of the property on Oneida Lake.
