About this property

tuscany country house looking out over 180° of the enchanting Volterra panorama

The farmhouse is divided into two floors, the upper one dedicated to our guests, and the lower one occupied by the family who will introduce you to farm life, showing you the various activities of the countryside and the many local products available there. The warm hospitality is informal but also allows all the privacy our guests desire.
The structure can host up to eight guests, with an option to add spare beds if necessary.
All the rooms and washrooms are complete with heating, and wood for the cozy fireplace is provided. Also available are baby beds and high chairs for our infant guests.

THE ROOMS

Ascending a beautiful stone staircase, you come to the rooms furnished with vintage furniture. Available are: a double-room connected to an adjacent room with single beds, sharing one bathroom; a double-room separated from an adjacent room with single beds, sharing one bathroom; and a large double-room having its own bathroom.
There is also a large living space with kitchen facilities and a beautiful stone fireplace designed for relaxation and meals.
All linens are furnished and have been purchased with special attention given to the quality of their materials (goose-down comforters and quilts, anti-allergy and/or orthopaedic feather pillows, made of cotton of highest Italian quality).

IN THE PROPERTY

Around the house you will find terraces and verandas complete with tables and lounge chairs for basking in the sun, as well as a patio with a large wooden table, ideal for barbeques. There is also a shaded area where you can simply take a nap or enjoy your favourite book under the gentle branches of a majestic oak tree.

A relaxing week in Tuscany

We were able to spend a very relaxing week in Tuscany. Thanks to the size of the accommodation, we had plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 children. The pool and the abundant shaded areas were very beneficial in the excellent summer weather. So was the barbecue area for delicious barbecues. All in all, a lovely week to relax, with plenty of peace and a great view over Tuscany.

Merci pour ton accueil Luisa. Ta maison est magnifique, il y a tout ce dont nous avions besoin. L’environnement est superbe les vues spectaculaires et la tranquillité assurée. La maison est à moins de 10 minutes du village de Chianni.

Entspannend

Die Wohnung hat eine angenehme Größe für 8-10 Personen. Luisa die Gastgeberin in sehr zuvorkommend, hilfreich und sehr nett. Wir hatten einen Ausfall eines Ventilators, der sofort von Luisa gewechselt wurde. Die Wohnung liegt zentral zwischen Meer, Pisa, Florenz usw. mit dem Auto braucht man überall eine Stunde hin. Das passt immer. Fußläufig ist Chianni zu erreichen wo man gut Essen kann und in kleinen Läden auch das Nötigste bekommt. Kritik: keine!! Wir danken Luisa für den schönen Aufenthalt!!

Toskanisches Leben auf einem historischen fröhlichen Reiterhof mit unendlichem Blick in die Weite.

Wir wurden von Luisa in ihrem gewachsenen, seit mehreren Generationen bewirtschafteten toskanischem Hof freundlich empfangen. Es war die notwendige Ausstattung gut vorhanden. Die Weite des Grundes und die Anordnung von Sitz und Liegebereich, sowie der überall vorhandene Blick in die Weite der Landschaft machten die Urlaubswoche zusammen mit meiner großen Familie zu einem besonders eindrücklichem Erlebnis. Gerne wieder….

Empfehlenswertes Haus!

Wir hatten wirklich wunderschöne 2 Wochen im Haus, der Blick ist traumhaft auf die toskanische Landschaft, der Garten bzw. das Grundstück riesig, auf einem Hügel gelegen, und es weht immer ein Lüftchen. Es gibt auf dem Grundstück viel Platz zum Spielen und Entdecken für die Kinder (5-8jahre). Der Pool hätte größer sein können, aber für die Kinder hat er vollkommen ausgereicht, und für den Preis wirklich auch nicht mehr zu erwarten. Die Bilder des Inserats geben nicht die Ausstattung des Hauses wieder, die tatsächlich viel besser ist! Die Küchenzeile ist größer und es gibt einen alten Keller mit zusätzlichem Kühlschrank, so dass wir mit 9 Personen genug Platz hatten. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, das sieht man. Luisa ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin! Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!!

Buen punto estratégico para visitar la Toscana

El alojamiento en general es muy recomendable pero me gustaría hacer algunas puntualizaciones para futuros huéspedes y para que la propietaria las tenga en cuenta. Estuvimos en plena ola de calor, lo cual nos hizo comprobar que la casa no está preparada para soportar un calor excesivo. Se echa de menos que todas las ventanas tenga mosquiteras que permitan dejarlas abiertas para que entre aire sin que entren insectos. También por poner un pero el escaso aislamiento del techo hace que la casa se recaliente mucho. Si existiesen contraventanas seguro que se podría disminuir el efecto del calor. El camino de acceso puede ser complicado si tienes un coche bajo. Yo tengo un todocamino y sin problema, pero mi compañero de viaje tenía un coche bajo y en varias ocasiones tocó con los bajos en la entrada. Pero vamos con las cosas buenas, que son muchas. Joanna, la chica que estaba al cargo fue un encanto y estuvo a nuestra disposición siempre que la necesitamos. La casa está muy bien equipada con útiles de cocina, toallas, sábanas. Hay tres neveras a disposición de los huespedes, una de ellas arcon congelador. Las vistas son maravillosas. Cenar y desayunar en la mesa del jardín viendo el paisaje Toscano no tiene precio. Hay multitud de juegos de mesa para los peques, libros, barbacoa. La piscina, aunque no es olímpica es un pequeño oasis donde refrescarte con vistas a los campos. En resumen, una experiencia. La gente del pueblo encantandora, No os olvideis de visitar a Paola, un cielo de mujer que hace la mejor pasta y lasaña que he comido en mi vida, y encima para llevar. Perdeos por las calles, comprad en los pequeños comercios y los jueves no os perdáis el mercadillo de productos locales; vino, queso, embutidos... Muchas gracias a Lisa por dejarnos vivir esta experiencia en tu casa

Séjour agréable au sein de la campagne Toscane

La ferme, très au calme et légèrement éloignée de la nationale, a été rénovée avec goût avec toutes les commodités attendues. La vue sur la plaine est magnifique le matin au lever du soleil. Les propriétaires vous aident à préparer votre séjour avec une grande gentillesse et l'amabilité des habitants de cette région de l'Italie. L'accueil est fait par des amis à eux très discrets habitant ponctuellement le rez-de-chaussée de la maison. Nous avons passé une semaine enchanteresse à découvrir le nord de la Toscane avec des temps d'accès aux principaux sites entre 1h et 2h (Pise, Lucca, San Giminiano, Voltera, Florence, Sienne). La position géographique serait plus consacrée à des vacances Eco-Tourisme ou agro-culturelle pour profiter des activités les plus proches (Balades, Ville thermale, villages de chianni et sa piscine, villes de Voltera, San Giminiano, Pise - Florence et Sienne sont un peu éloignées). Si vous voulez passer un séjour avec un retour à la nature avec un rythme de vie digne de la Dolce Vita ce lieu est le bon.
