About this property

Classic Farmhouse with easy VAST & Kingdom Trails access

The farmhouse is large & comfortable, providing that Vermont country feeling of a much simpler time. Location is quiet, yet close to the village where all of the basic amenities can be found. Conveniently located-3 mi. to Kingdom Trails, VAST access from the backyard & 10 minutes to Burke Mountain. I prefer to limit groups to 8 though please inquire with your particular needs. The table in the fully equipped country kitchen easily seats 8.

The comfortable and homey rooms are large enough to gather together and plentiful enough to offer spaces for quiet, alone time. The garage offers space to store and work on bikes with a seating area and games (like darts and cornhole) to make it a great spot for hanging out after a long day riding. Ski & bike racks are provided for your convenience.

The outdoor shower is available April-October. It’s a wonderful treat to shower under the stars. The backyard fire pit is another gathering space to enjoy year round at the end of a fun filled day outdoors.
Life is good!
Its the ideal location from which to ride the Kingdom Trails-Vermont's 100 mile mountain bike network. Burke mountain is only 10 minutes away for skiing and riding.
We offer easy access to the areas lakes, state parks and hiking trails.
We are just a short drive to the White Mountains, Jay Peak and the Canadian border.

There’s so much to enjoy up here, just come and explore from your home away from home.

Loved our stay for Xc skiing out the door, short drive to Burke for downhill. Close to village with food store and restaurants. The house was well- stocked with all we needed and hosts were extremely helpful. Would love to return.

Brought my mom and aunts for a leaf peeping vacation. We drove all over and used this house as a central location. I could not have asked for a better host. He was amazing! The house was super clean and had everything you could ever think of needing!

Perfect Vermont farmhouse

We had a wonderful time in Lyndonville and the surrounding area. The farmhouse was perfect for our needs - we couldn’t have asked for anything more! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic house!

We were so impressed with the house and all of the extra touches, like the basket of goodies and the very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was quality throughout. I can’t wait to stay there again!

Great place to stay for with friends

A well maintained large farmhouse with lots of extras to keep you and your friends entertained. The house comes with a fully stocked kitchen and the host has thought of everything. Lots of different seating/hangout areas and the kitchen is a fun place to hang out while food prep/cooking takes place. Really enjoyed my stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse! It was very comfortable, roomy enough for all of us, and everything was clean and ready for us. Check in and out instructions were clear and easy, and the kitchen was very well equipped for making all our meals. We appreciated having a grill, and s'mores over the fire pit were a hit with our grandchildren. The garden was wonderful, we were able to help ourselves to zucchini and blueberries! All in all, this house and property are very welcoming and we highly recommend staying here.

PHENOMENAL!! Check-in was seamless, the kitchen had everything one would need, the bathrooms all had soap, shampoo, conditioners, etc, the outside shower was AMAZING!! We had no issues with wi-fi, ever. Plenty of room for all guests to hang out together or to have some personal space. Great proximity to Kingdom Trails!!! We will be back!!!

Quintessential VT Center Chimney Cape

Beautiful gardens: Flowers in full bloom, fruit trees, and berry bushes. Manicured lawn. Immaculate, large cape with 5 bedrooms. It far exceeds the host's description. Very centrally located for outdoor sports. We hope to make it back next year.

Family gathering

Perfect setting for four siblings and their spouses. Plenty of space to gather it spread out depending on people's preferences. All beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the ge tools we needed to prepare several meals.

Great farm house and the location was amazing! The welcome basket was an extra nice touch!!! The kids were in heaven! Beautiful and quirky home that has all the unique touches and fun Knick-knacks everywhere. Thankful for Kevin opening up this house to us. Great addition to our New England fall family road trip!

Eclipse trip

Excellent location, house and host! We made better time than expected and were able to check in a little early. Were greeted with a wonderful snack basket. Enjoyed watching the solar eclipse around the fire pit in the back yard.

The farmhouse was perfect for our visit to Vermont for a family wedding. It was so easy to move right in, unpack, feel comfortable, and have everything we need . Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax between wedding activities , hikes, and visiting a local corn maze . The farmhouse was so cozy and full of New England charm … the quintessential Vermont farmstead- veggie and flower gardens, outdoor shower , dog bed area under the stairs , cool antiques , fire pit and lots of warm blankets for the cool autumn nights . My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer . Highly recommend this house . We absolutely loved it !

skiing at Burke Mountain

This is the second time we've stayed at the property. The property is well maintained, in a great location and well equipped. Five minutes to Burke Mountain and close to town. If you don't feel like cooking ,Pizzaman is great and they deliver right to front door. Thanks Kevin, Hope property is available next season.

Spacious and homey house with very welcoming host

We really enjoyed our stay at Kevin's house while visiting friends and family (and hiking and swimming) in the Northeast Kingdom. It was more than big enough for our family and had lots of thoughtful little extras for the kids. The house was fantastically well-equipped, with everything a large group needs to live comfortably and even host friends for dinner. We especially loved the firepit, the spacious yard, the blueberries and tomatoes in the garden, the comfortable beds and the outdoor shower. Kevin was also a fantastic host, very thoughtful and responsive. We'd love to come again!

Everything was clean and comfortable lots of room. We had as memorial for my mom and also family reunion. Everyone very comfortable lots of room inside and out. Beds very comfortable also. Manager was very accommodating had to check in early and leave later. Would definatly recommend

Farmhouse charm and great location

We had a great stay at Kevin's farmhouse for several days of biking at KT. Kitchen is fully loaded, garden has fresh goodies. Wifi worked well. Loved the bike/ski vibe, the great outdoor shower and sunset views. Kevin was responsive and helpful.

Skiing at Burke

Great house! Great location! The house has plenty of space and well equipped. The garage is well equipped also, great for working on skis and storing your gear. Firepit in back yard is wonderful for hanging out after skiing all day and the sun set from the yard is something to sun. Thanks so much! Hope we can do this again.

Lyndonville farmhouse is super cozy and authentic

This property surpassed our expectations! It is super cozy, with a Sweet corner stove in kitchen to snuggle in at, and the house is incredibly well appointed. There is a welcome basket with snacks upon arrival, which my family devoured, and everything you could need for your stay. Host is accessible and super easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to come back this summer!

Perfect Vermont Experience

Beautiful, friendly, fun place!

This was the highlight of our road trip around Vermont. The house was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and stocked with all the utensils for cooking, games and even a stunning little vegetable garden. Our hosts stopped to say hello, and offered us blueberries and tomatoes from the garden. They explained all the things we needed to know about the house and made sure we had a contact number for them. There are plenty of fun activities to do in the area, but honestly there was so much to do at the house, we barely felt we needed to leave.

I purchased this as an opportunity to give back. I've stayed in numerous HomeAway places and have always enjoyed pleasant stays and met the nicest people in our travels. I would like to do the same. The place showed me I could have families enjoy themselves together with friends. Plenty of room for everyone
The farm house came to me as a quiet, peaceful place to unwind, detach and just relax. The house, and location have so much to offer.

Game room, comfortable furniture, large kitchen, and table classic Vermont setting with a propane Franklin stove. Close to town for shopping, minutes to Burke mountain, 45 minutes to JayPeak, Kingdom Trails, VAST Trails . It’s in an ideal area.
