The stay was awesome! The house was nice and we had a great time. Very close to airport!

The house itself wasn't terrible, but some of the features of the house was misrepresented which kinda left a less pleasant overall experience

Family Vaca

House was not as described. Much older home and not kept up. Beds seemed not clean had to clean sheets before going to bed. Bedrooms were very cluttered hard to get around. No cabinet doors on kitchen cabinets. No kitchen towels anywhere to be found. Pool was full of leaves had to clean best possible before kids went swimming. Four tv's did not work in 3 bedrooms and in the dining room. Home was not as advertised, could have been a bit cleaner.

Property was unclean in fact the host was still cleaning when we were supposed to be checking in at 4pm. The bed looked like someone had just slept in it, dirty socks and used towels were found on bedroom floor. When we drove up to property there was a restoration van there because the water heater was leaking into drywall and the company had fans in garage drying the drywall. Kitchen cabinets were completely off and rug upstairs was torn off, the floors were ruined, hot tub was green, and pool table was disgusting. The pictures on website do not compare to what we saw, you will be sorry if you stay here. We ended up not staying and calling VRBO, which by the way are useless. Kept saying the amount we paid was nonrefundable, even tho there was a water leak. VRBO kept trying to call the host but she would not answer. She cancelled on us anyway citing some fake house-rules and we might be comfortable staying at The Luxor. The host has all the power, even tho the house was disgusting. You’ll be sorry if you stay at this house.

I almost never write Reviews. I’m a retired veteran and this was a terrible experience. Don’t Book!

The host got upset when I told her that the property pictures were very misleading and that there were a lot of hazards in and outside the property. She locked me and my kids in and left without saying anything. I had to get the Police Department assistance & guidance on how to safely get out of the house. Here’s the conversation between myself and the host after I realized she locked the door and left with the property still in a mess with trash left in the kitchen, bedrooms, & bathrooms still had used loofahs hygiene products.Me: What are you doing. This is not right. You locked us in your property and left without telling us. You locked me and my kids in the his house. I need you to come back so we can discuss this whole situation with the propertyHost: No response.Me: I’ve been waiting for over an hour for you. This house isn’t ready for anyone still.The host would not respond to my calls & text messages, I sent her a text stating the conditions & reasons I’m a would not be staying at her property and why I am canceling I also informed her that I had called the local authorities about being locked in the property. I her know that I had no way to secure her home because she left without giving us the key the main door and the key pad. Police told me to make an attempt to secure the door we got out of as best as possible. Then call and text the host informing her that she needs to come back to secure her property.I don’t recommend this host.
