The house is very clean and well-appointed. It’s very close to Atlantic Station and my family enjoyed walking there. There wasn’t much seating in the living room per se for a house that holds up to ten people. It was hard to get a quick response from host.

Liked: Location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
I’m reluctant to offer a bad review because I respect this affects someone’s business. However, I have to here. The unit is beautiful and located in a great neighborhood. It’s generally well appointed. My issues are threefold. 1) someone was in the unit we booked when we got there. The host accommodated us by switching units. However, we didn’t get the code for two hours and even then I had to bug the host. This majorly messed up our plans. The host should have worked hard to minimize the disruption; he did not. 2) the unit smells badly of previous smokers. 3) for our troubles, the host volunteered to offer a discount. Which we didn’t receive.

About the host
Hosted by Laurie Ann Tidwell
I’m Dennis, a homebuilder, community advocate, and hands-on host based in Atlanta. I’ve spent years building spaces that feel both intentional and welcoming. Hosting isn’t just a business for me—it’s a way to share the neighborhoods I care about, connect with travelers, and offer a stay that’s memorable for all the right reasons. I enjoy crafting guest experiences that blend comfort with a touch of creativity, whether it’s through custom signage, curated game setups, or local tips that go beyond the guidebooks.
Why they chose this property
I chose the Home Park neighborhood because it’s the heartbeat of Atlanta. Just steps away, Atlantic Station brings the buzz: shops, restaurants, live music, and skyline views that remind you you’re in the middle of something special.
Georgia Tech is right around the corner, and its energy spills into the neighborhood—bright minds, bold ideas, and a campus that keeps the area vibrant year-round. Whether you’re here for a campus visit, a concert, or just a weekend escape, you’ll feel the pulse of the city in every direction.
I love this part of Atlanta because it’s walkable, welcoming, and full of contrast—historic homes next to modern towers, quiet mornings followed by lively nights. It’s a place where you can grab lemon pepper wings at midnight, catch a rooftop sunset, and still be back in time to relax in a space that feels like home.
What makes this property unique
This place is built for comfort and clarity. From the moment you walk in, everything’s designed to be easy—from the Wi-Fi that actually works to the game setups that spark a little friendly competition. I’ve added custom signage, guest-friendly instructions, and thoughtful touches that make your stay smooth and memorable. It’s not just a place to crash—it’s a space that feels like someone cared enough to get the details right. Whether you’re here to explore, unwind, or just recharge, this property is ready for you.
