10”s of snow greeted us when we got there. The Mountain View’s were breathtaking. Thanksgiving day a flock of wild turkeys walked on by. We lost power one night but the generator kicked right in. Fantastic time for all of us.
We had a wonderful time at Ridgeview! The accommodations were great, the views were majestic, and the location was perfect. We will definitely be checking out this property again in the future.
This is definitely a beautiful place. Only issues I would complain about is the, DVD player does not work, surround sound didn’t work, the floor wasn’t swept, futon couch had dog hair on it. But other than that. I would definitely stay again or even buy the house 😝
Loved the cabin, views from all windows and the hiking on the property. Saw wildlife and just thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our two dogs didn't want to leave. Wish we had stayed longer....
Finding a rental close to RMNP and Estes but without neighbors can be tricky. This place checks all the boxes. We were looking for a nice secluded spot and we found it. Our kids and dog loved the creek at the back of the property. There was plenty of room for them to roam around in the trees. The house was great. Lots of space. Along with a perfect ambiance. We will be back.
We had a great stay at Ridgeview. It surpassed our expectations and we loved the way it was so secluded yet only a short drive to the park. The property managers responded quickly to our questions. We’d definitely stay here again.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Ridgeview. The pictures don’t do this property justice. The cabin is beautiful. The property is amazing and you can hear the stream sitting on the porch. The only negative of our stay was the propane electric generator ran the whole time. It wasn’t mentioned in the listing the cabin ran on generator. This did have a negative as you could hear the constant sound.
We loved our stay here so very much! Every morning we did some front porch sitting while drinking our coffee before we started our day. The view was amazing and the sound of the stream was music to our ears. The Japanese sitting tub was so relaxing after a big day. The gas stone fireplace was a cozy feeling on cooler nights. The first few nights we slept with the bedroom windows open and it was so refreshing. The temperature in the cabin was always perfect. It was so peaceful there! The location was perfect for us. It was about a 20 minute drive to Estes Park. The property was perfectly secluded and a relaxing place to come back to. We didn’t want to leave and hope to come back!
The place is very nice and secluded. Located off a long gravel/dirt road. Easy communication. There was white animal hair on the rocking chairs and upstairs sofa. Watered down dish soap. Not easy to carry luggage up/down the tight spiral staircase to/from the master room and the bunk beds are short in length not accommodating for an adult. Master bed was not comfortable.
Great location. Very private area, but only 15-20 minutes to RMNP entrance. Beautiful creek running through the property. Lots of great wildlife moving through the area, including a moose this year. We have stayed two years in a row and would stay a third.
We stayed here 3 nights at the tail end of our Rocky Mountain vacation, and it was exactly what we needed after the crowds of RMNP! Still accessible to the south entrance, but peace and quiet with a great creek running through the property. A wonderful stay for our family!
Our family loved having a Cabin Christmas in the Mountains. It is always a blessing to find a place that can accommodate our large family including the furry ones. The cabin came with all the essentials and then some making it easy to feel at home. The views were amazing and the snow came just in time for it to be a white Christmas.
Beautiful property inside and out. There is no AC but as the hosts advised, opening the windows is near just as good. Just be sure to check the windows you open have a screen as some don’t and flies wait in droves to get in the open windows-then want back out as soon as their in:p The property sits by a babbling brook that is pleasant to hear and explore around. The property was NOT buggy at all despite being in its old Aspen filled world. Abbey is very responsive and we absolutely have this saved for future stays:)
The house and scenery are absolutely gorgeous. Mt Meeker to wake up to every morning. What's not to like about that. Only 2 things to mention: 1. It would be nice to indicate on the VRBO ad that the owners prefer a no shoes policy. For us oldsters with foot problems like plantar fascitis that is a problem. Also, the actual driveway up tp the cabin is somewhat rough. Other than that. Wonderful experience.
Perfect spot in Allenspark. The sound of the babbling brook was music to my ears. Best sleep for a week! The cabin was super cozy. Can’t wait to visit again.
