About this property
Modern vintage, pet-friendly 2-bedroom house in Stockport
Hazel House Heathside is our carefully curated, design-forward two-bedroom home—a space where vintage treasures, modern simplicity, and effortless vibes collide, and four-legged guests are just as welcome as their humans.
Thoughtfully renovated with a mix of mid-century gems, eclectic thrifted finds, and lush greenery, this isn’t just a stay—it’s a vibe.
The main bedroom features a ridiculously comfy super king (EU king) bed, while the second has a king (EU queen), both dressed in crisp white linen that looks straight out of a Kinfolk spread. Bedside tables have uber cool wireless phone chargers and a Bluetooth digital radio for soothing vibes before sleep.
The bathroom? Stocked with Aesop essentials, complete with a shower-over-bath setup and endless hot water for those long, soul-soothing soaks.
The kitchen is set up for slow mornings and espresso-fueled creativity—yes, there’s a coffee machine with Grind coffee pods because, priorities. Prefer tea? We've got your back with a selection of black and herbal teas.
Step outside to a plant-filled courtyard with colourful outdoor furniture, a gas Weber BBQ, and a gas pizza oven—because who doesn’t love an impromptu alfresco dinner under fairy lights?
Fast WiFi (for working or pretending to), TVs in the lounge and main bedroom stacked with every streaming service you could want, new radiators for peak coziness, and polished floorboards that add just the right amount of character.
And the best part? Your furry friend is more than welcome. We’re a truly pet-friendly home—no size limits, no weird rules. Bring your pup, your cat, or even your well-behaved bunny, and let them settle in like it’s their own. We’ve even got pet bowls and plenty of cozy corners to curl up in, all you need to do is bring their bed.
It’s an ideal base for attending the many festivals and events happening year-round in the area—whether it’s music, food, culture, or sports, you’re never far from the action. Plus, you’re minutes from train and bus lines, 20 minutes from the Peak District, Manchester, and the Trafford Centre, with easy drives to Leeds, York, Liverpool, and the Lakes. Phew!
If you’re into good design, good coffee, and good energy, this is your kind of place. Need a stylish, comfortable space for a longer visit? Whether you’re working remotely, relocating, or just taking a break, we’d love to host you.
Pack your bags, bring your camera, grab the leash and come stay awhile.

Why they chose this property
We chose Cheadle Heath in Stockport because it offers the best of both worlds—a quiet, residential feel with easy access to everything that makes this part of the UK special.
It’s well-connected, with great transport links into Manchester city centre, yet far enough removed to feel calm and laid-back. You're close to green spaces and local parks, a short drive from National Trust properties, and perfectly positioned to explore both the Peak District and the Lake District—ideal for weekend adventures or nature-filled day trips.
Plus, being near Didsbury means you’re never far from great coffee, indie shops, cool eateries, and a creative community vibe. It’s a location that suits both city explorers and nature lovers, and that balance is exactly what drew us in.

What makes this property unique
What sets our property apart is the intentional design and elevated comfort that most short-stay homes simply don’t offer. Every detail has been carefully considered—this isn’t just a place to sleep, it’s a space to feel inspired and at home.
Curated by Firth & Carter Interiors, the home features a unique blend of vintage finds and contemporary design, creating a warm, lived-in feel that’s still fresh and stylish. Unlike many generic rentals, you’ll find luxe linens, super comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and character in every room.
We’re not just about great looks either—the location offers a rare mix of urban access and natural beauty. You're perfectly placed between the bustling energy of Manchester, the laid-back charm of Didsbury, and the peace of the Peak and Lake Districts.
It’s thoughtful, design-led, and made for people who care about where they stay. That's what makes us different.
