FAQ’s

➤ Tell Me More About The Pool & Hot Tub…

The pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend (exact dates are weather dependent). The pool is heated and typically maintained at 82°F. If you’d like the temperature adjusted, we’re happy to accommodate with at least five days’ advance notice. Please note that due to the size of the pool and fluctuating weather—particularly in early summer and fall—we can’t guarantee an exact temperature. Pool towels are provided and the hot tub is open year round.



➤ Is The Kitchen Fully Equipped?

Yes, the home has a chef’s kitchen equipped with two islands (including wet bar), gas stove top, double wall ovens, pro fridge and dishwasher. It’s stocked with all the necessities - pots, pans, small appliances, cutlery and more. The best part is the kitchen opens to the deck, perfect for grilling and outdoor dining. And don’t forget about the secondary kitchen in the in-law suite!



➤ Are dogs allowed?

We are very dog friendly! We allow up to 2 dogs free of charge with a maximum of 3 dogs total. There will be an additional $150 charge for up to 3 dogs. There is a medium sized doggy door from the sun room to the deck, as well as dog bowls, beds and baggies for your use.



➤ Good For Remote Workers Or Retreats?

Definitely. There is fast WiFi (extends to the pool), a designated office on the second floor (equipped with printer), bedroom with desk in the basement plus additional desks (including a standing desk) in the basement common area. There are also multiple lounge areas and quiet nooks throughout for reading or working.

Getting Around:

10 minute drive from the Kingston bus stop, 20 minute drive from Rhinecliff Amtrak, 30-40 minutes from Poughkeepsie MetroNorth stop. Call ahead for a ride from any of these stations!



Other Things to Note:

➤ Unfortunately, events and parties are not allowed. The Fox Hill Manor is located in a residential neighborhood and we need to respect the neighborhood and its residents.

➤ We utilize noise monitoring devices to ensure we are in compliance with the county noise ordinance.

➤ The home is equipped with a full house backup generator to ensure no interruptions during your stay.

➤ In the event of excessive snow or cold temps, the fire pit will not be accessible.

➤ Garbage Policy: If excess garbage is left behind outside of the bins, we do charge guests an additional fee of $300 to cover the labor, time, and resources it takes to remove from the property and dispose of it properly.
