Duck, NC - Oceanfront and Unlimited Sunrises! Welcome to Sandy Quacks!

Now sleeps 6! Get ready to relax in this 1-bedroom condo in Kitty Hawk just steps to the beach! The large deck right off the living room is the perfect spot to sit back and listen to the waves crashing against the beach or wake up early and watch the magnificent sunrise without having to leave the comfort of your condo. Do you enjoy aquatic birds and sea life? Catch a glimpse of local “Big Birds” of the Outer Banks (Osprey, Great Blue Heron, Tricolored Heron, Egret and more) or watch the dolphins feed and crest in the water (we supply the binoculars if needed). This enjoyable property features a King bed, 2 full bathrooms and 2 additional sleeping spaces for extra comfort. Bedroom 2 is an open air bunk system just inside the entry way so the little ones are never too far away. Each bunk comes with its very own tv (Bluetooth headphones/earbuds capable for private listening…headphones/earbuds not provided) the kids are sure to enjoy! Need additional sleeping areas? We also have a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and all linens are provided. Our kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessities you will need for a stress free vacation including a dishwasher, coffee maker, basic spices and much much more! With WiFi, keyless access control, flat screen TVs, AC, and a common area washer and dryer, guests can unwind in this gorgeous retreat after a day of exploring. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

Save space and money, one of the few condos in the area that will provide you with basic linens (please bring your own beach towels). Need a refresh? Use our conveniently located laundry room on the ground level of the building (Coin or App compatible). Our condo also has an assortment of beach necessities such as sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and more, just drop your bags and go!

Note: Due to the proximity of the ocean, the condo is on pilings and access to the condo does require the use of stairs.

Sandy Quacks is cute, cozy and clean, and perfectly located in the quaint town of Duck! We also loved the ocean view and close proximity to the pool (which we got to enjoy since it is open until mid-Oct!). Absolutely loved this condo and its location- got to see dolphins every day from the balcony- also a short walk/drive to downtown duck area! Absolutely loved staying here! I would recommend it highly. The location is wonderful and it really feels like you're at home. The condo is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the host is just a message away (and prompt to respond). We were set to leave and I just wasn't ready, so I messaged them, and it just so happened no one was booked for the next day and they let me extend! The washer & dryer are very nice and clean, they are coin-op so remember to bring a roll of quarters if you're planning to use. I would not doubt the next time we head down to OBX that I will look this place up again!

Fabulous hosts that have thought of everything! We arrived to blueberry muffins and the condo was available before the 4:00 check-in. Very clean everywhere and a stocked kitchen! They supplied dish soap, dishwasher detergent, sponge, dish towels, hair dryer and hand soaps!! Very unexpected as I had brought my own! The porch swing was relaxing in the evening and the binoculars next to the slider were perfect for dolphin sightings!! Lots of sand toys for the beach and chairs and an umbrella! Perfect vacay!
