Come and relax at this peaceful place to stay, enjoy beautiful long-range mountain views from the deck and almost every room, game nights with friends and family (pool, ping pong, foosball, air hockey), and explore nearby shopping, restaurants, and outdoor activities. Sitting at 3500' elevation on Alex Mountain facing north and can enjoy amazing sunrises as the sun lights up the misty valley, and sunset colors in the evening. Enjoy some hiking, waterfalls, golfing, and all the area offers, or just relax and enjoy the view with a snack.

Please collect trash and drop off at Sky Valley trash compactor at 102 Knob Dr in Sky Valley GA (24/7) or Rabun Gap Recycle Center at 144 Kelly's Creek Rd Rabun Gap GA (Mon-Sat 7a-7p or Sun 12-5pm).
No need to strip the beds, and it's fine to leave towels hanging in the bathroom.
Please load and run dishwasher when leaving.

This house was so comfortable! My family stayed here during the new year holiday and it had everything we needed. The fireplace, the game room, and the back door patio overlooking it the mountains were our highlights! The host was extremely responsive and also flexible when it came to us checking in an hour or two earlier than planned. I would highly recommend this house!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! We took this trip during our kids’ spring break to get away from busy life and to reconnect with family. There were 6 adults and two kids and we were all very comfortable. There was space for us to enjoy each other’s company as well as space to enjoy quiet time. The views were remarkable and sunset was incredibly to watch on the top level. Additional activities, such as hiking trout fishing farm visits, and restaurants were all easily accessible, and it was also nice to just spend a couple of days in the house. We could not have asked for a better week in the mountains.

A great house and a great host. The home has many bonus points from a tremendously equipped game room to two kitchens. The views are wonderful and the two levels of spacious porches means there is plenty of room for everyone with space to spare.

Awesome cabin with gorgeous views and super clean

What an amazing property. My husband and his 3 brothers stayed here for a rafting trip and absolutely loved it. No complaints whatsoever. Loved the views from the back porches, plenty of room for all, and enjoyed the game room as well. Would enjoy staying here again!

The view is incredible, the location/position is great for both sunrises and sunsets. The house was very clean and stocked with most anything you would need for nice stay. It was perfect for our long weekend getaway to celebrate my mother-in-laws 75th birthday. Matt was wonderful, and the communication was perfect. There's a great binder with information which was super helpful and check in/out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was in perfect order when we arrived. There was a book (with large font) that explained everything about the cabin and its amenities. All of the rooms were clean and organized. The game room became a popular place as we settled in. The view from the porch was exceptional. All kitchen tools were in order and easy to find. The whole family had a great time and thought it worthy of another trip/stay in the future.

Absolutely the best home we’ve ever rented! The view of the mountains is amazing and there’s so much space inside. Enjoy the beautiful towering stone fireplace and the game room … plus TWO kitchens! It’s very clean and well-maintained. And the owner went the extra mile to give us tips on great restaurants and things to do. Yes, go float the Chatooga! Do a cook-out on the grill. Views for Days

This was without a doubt one of the best homes we have ever stayed in. The views were simply amazing from sun up to sun down. We had an incredible stay over the 4th of July from the duck race to the fireworks. What made the stay even more enjoyable was the owner's attention to detail and his willingness to answer any question asked. Matt has done a great job creating an experience you and your family will for sure remember. The game room was an added bonus for anyone with kids. If you need a new family photo this deck and these views are the place to do it. Can't recommend this home enough. Great home. Great owner.
