Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the beautiful weather, peaceful lake views, and time to relax in nature. It’s wonderful to hear that you found the house comfortable and clean. We’d love to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway!
Our stay at Bethlehem Cottage was fantastic. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, which let us fully enjoy the great location and outdoor facilities. The cottage was perfect for our long weekend getaway, with plenty of activities nearby.
We stayed two nights, and couldn’t have been happier with the property and our stay! Perfectly situated directly on a small lake, with the dock only about 30 feet from the back door of the house. The interior was nicely updated, with small bedrooms, and a full kitchen. Furniture and beds were comfy, the kayaks and stand up paddle board were easy to access and in good condition. Very clean house. Extremely happy with our stay!

We truly appreciate your kind words. It means a lot to know you had a great experience—you’re welcome back anytime!
We went with three adults and two kids, 4 and 7. The house was a sweet little renovated camp on the lake. Very clean and tidy. The bedrooms were just big enough for the beds, no drawers. The mattresses were very comfortable - such a rarity in a Vrbo! The kitchen had everything you need to cook, and the grill was great. The bathroom shower was luxurious and they even had a step stool for the kids. There were only low seats for eating on the porch and outside - inside with AC only had high bar stools. The AC worked great, which was important during our heat-dome stay! The lake was beautiful - not too mucky or overgrown. There was a little boat launch that doubled as a kids sand beach. The water was shallow very far out from the dock - perfect for kids who are learning to swim. The 2 single kayaks and paddle board were in great shape. The public beach across the lake was lovely too, although there is a few for entry. We kayaked right over there for the afternoon! We stayed on the 4th of July - there were competing fireworks on each side of the lake we watched right from the dock. Overall it was an awesome place to stay for a family. Everything you really need. The hosts were easy to communicate with, and the check out list was actually very reasonable!! Family notes- The beds are close to the living area, so I’d recommend sound machines for little kids. There was not a great place for a pack and play except in the common space.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We're delighted to hear your family had such a wonderful Fourth of July getaway and that everyone from the adults to the kids, enjoyed the cottage and the lake.
It means a lot to know you found the home clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, grill, and those comfy mattresses! We're also glad the air conditioning kept everyone cool during the heat wave and that the kids were able to safely enjoy the shallow water, beach area, kayaks, and paddleboard. Watching the fireworks from the dock is one of our favorite summer traditions too, and we're so happy you were able to experience it.
We also appreciate your helpful feedback about the bedroom layout, dining seating, and pack-and-play space. Guest comments like yours help future visitors know what to expect and help us continue improving the experience.
Thank you again for choosing our lake cottage. It was a pleasure hosting your family, and we would love to welcome you back for another lakeside vacation in the future!
This Place is Amazing .My family enjoy a lot. I love that the kitchen is equipped with the best tools, Fridge was very clean, which I loved. What me and my family most loved also is , they think about our comfort , all the mattress is everything! amazing, the same that I use in my house. The view is Spectacular, The only part for me is, is about the cleaning, When I arrived , I saw a lot of sand inside around the hug. And the bathroom shower is attention needing .Over all we love everything.

So enjoyed staying at this adorable cottage. The sunroom was our favorite spot for dinner overlooking the lake. Loved the decor and the comfortable bed. Hope to return next summer.
