We loved our beautiful home away from home! It has everything possible! The lay-out is awesome for when our kids and grandkids came. we loved our time at your home and will definitely book again the next time we are in venice! the house was beautiful, the pool was great for the kids, and beach was walking distance away even for the four year old. :) the kitchen was very well appointed with all of the tools needed for home cooking. thank you for sharing your vacation getaway with us!

Perfect place to stay

This is a Wonderful House love the kitchen very well equipped with every tool and Gadget you to ever want to enjoy cooking the location was perfect just a just a short distance to the beach and many other great beaches within 5 minutes of the house the pool is wonderful and fun to relax In the overall experience has been one of the best ones I've had with a house in Venice I would highly recommend to anyone

Classy house near the beach

We enjoyed our stay in this big beautiful house. It's a great place situated on Venice Island, a five minute walk from the beach. The pool was refreshing on a hot summer day. Lots of room with 2 living areas, formal dining room and up-to-date kitchen. We would recommend it to anyone, from couples looking for a beach getaway to a family.

We went to this property in Venice not knowing what to expect. What we found was a lovely home, in a great location with plenty of things to do. We walked everywhere on the island and loved our month's stay. It's certainly a worthy place to be and stay. We highly recommend this property.

Terrific getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous Venice property over the holiday break. The Villa was spotless and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. The owner and property manager were a pleasure to deal with. The airport in Sarasota is close enough, with the beach, only a short walk from the Villa. If you are looking for a luxurious and relaxing break 'home from home', you have found the correct address.

Spacious, family friendly house.

The house was convenientally located. All the beaches, restaurants and shopping are easily accessible. The house is spacious, and the floor plan is wonderful for multiple family vacation. Everyone can be in their own area, if they would like to have some alone time. The pool area was used frequently by us, it has plenty of seating and space. I would definitely recommend this home for your next vacation.

We enjoyed our month in this comfortable house which was well stocked with everything we needed. We just had to buy food. We also enjoyed the warm pool. It's nice to be in walking distance to the beach also. We look forward to returning next year.

Fantastic experience!

We had a really great and relaxing holiday in this wonderful Venice Villa. This house is so comfortable and spacious and very tastefully furnished. The owner as well as the housekeeper Maria were always available, very friendly and helpful with giving valuable advice and recommendations, really making us feel at home. The floor plan of this beautiful mansion is absolutely brilliant as it has two completely separated private areas. The kitchen is gorgeous and neatly equipped and we even found that fridge and cabinets where stocked with food and groceries before our arrival, so there was no need to rush for shopping. The patio area with the BBQ grill is absolutely lovely ideal for a cook out and having some cocktails. And the heated pool always invites for a swim, it is even illuminated and can be used in the evening after the beach. The private Golden Beach is just a few steps away. We enjoyed the warm Gulf water, strolling along the beach, digging for shark teeth and watching precious sunsets. There are countless possibilities for activities like golfing, tennis, basketball, cycling, boating, fishing… you name it! The only thing that was missing was more time to stay a bit longer, so needless to say that we definitely do recommend this this gorgeous villa and will definitely be back at again soon.

Loved this house

Thoroughly enjoyed our six week stay here! The house was nicely furnished and very spacious. There was plenty of room for our daughter's family when they joined us for a week. The layout of the house was especially nice during this time. The newly heated swimming pool got much use, especially when our two grandchildren were visiting. LOVED the pool! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook; we used the BBQ grill a lot. Conveniently located near the beach, the neighborhood was also pleasant. Maria, the property manager was wonderful and quickly responded when we called her with questions. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely rent this home again.

Fabulous place

This is a truly beautiful home. There is more than enough room for six people to spread out. All the furnishing are new. The master suite contains a sitting area with a large tv. It is totally separate from the main area of the house ensuring total privacy. It is really prettier than the photos. Many sliding glass doors open unto the enclosed pool area allowing for an open air feeling. Although the pool is solar heated it remained cool due to the lower temperature at night during March and April (we spent six weeks here) but the beach is a three minute walk away. The pool pump is rather loud. Maybe some kind of sound dampening could be installed. This has to be the best rental in Venice.

Week long stay in Venice

Our stay in Venice was very pleasant. This home was very beautiful, clean, well maintained, and has lovely furnishings. The owner was very kind and expeditious in answering questions and responding to our requests. The housekeeper was extraordinarily helpful -- had everything we requested and prepared perfectly. She was also available any time we needed her. Our biggest disappointment was that the pool was described as solar heated and due to inclement temps it did not heat. We tried to adjust the thermostat, but it was not working. We would return in a heartbeat if the pool could be better heated. We had hoped to enjoy the pool with our children in the mornings and evenings, but it was far too cold to enjoy even on the sunny afternoons. However, the beach was a 5 minute walk away and we made good use of that. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, etc., nearby which was very convenient. Sharkey's and Left Coast restaurants were our favorites. Other than the pool problem, it was great!

In order to serve our guests better, we have taken action by replacing the solar panels with an efficient heat pump that provides constant pool heating even during the coldest days. We have not had any further concerns since.

What a joy this Joliehus!

What a joy it was to have our family from Siena, Italy stay at Joliehus in Venice this year! They absolutely loved the spaciousness, the tasteful decor and perfect location on Golden Beach; walking distance from private beach entrance and downtown Venice. We all enjoyed this beautiful home as we spent long hours sitting by the pool having drinks and loving life! Our Highest recommendations, comfort and family time at it's very best, we are looking forward to be back. PS Thank you Maria, for making our stay so pleasant. Sandy
